Merry Christmas! So glad to see Santa found Skylar. Those pictures of family time are definitely what Christmas is about. I wasn't planning on posting this morning but I think I'll do those 7 facts just for kicks and giggles.

Averie, the white bear is so cute. I love things like that. I hope you and your family are really enjoying the day. You really seem to make the most of all your moments. Re-gifted? I must have at many points, just can't think of it now. Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode…anyway, merry christmas day.

I love the photos of you and Skylar enjoying Santa's gifts! It truly is magical for kids! And it is such a gift to enjoy their joy…

We only got gifts for the toddler, and he is truly enjoying everything Santa brought him.

    Enjoy!

Merry Merry Merry Christmas! We had a great one! My favorite gifts are my mushroom foraging basket made in Ghana which helps support the women there, and a mushroom knife (Chris had to tell me what it was).

I will accept the Beautiful Blogger award as soon as Chris is certain it's not transferring back information to some evil entity (Chris is a paranoid web developer, what can I say?).

Hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation. Did you and the hubby exchange gifts or was it just Skylar's gifts that put you over the overweight limit?

Your beauty radiates from the inside out. I have no doubt your little girl is going to grow up to be a strong, confident individual. This is a hard time of year for me and many with many mixed emotions, but we do what we can – and learn "to discern the Self from the Non-Self" …it is hard, but everything takes time. Merry Merry Christmas girl and beautiful pictures :)

Averie I got chills with this post – seriously – loads of warm fuzzies running up and down my spine. The pictures of Skylar are absolutely priceless and seeing the two of you together brought smiles to my face.

I feel truly blessed to spend another Christmas with my family. I know there are many others out there who aren't as fortunate. Santa was very good to me this year – I received way too many gifts. Not that I'm going to (I loved all of mine!!) but your idea of regifting Skylar's clothes is brilliant. Seriously – why not give them to another little girl who can make use of them? No point in stashing them away with the price tags still on. If my sister in law doesn't have another little girl I think she should do the same because my niece was inundated with clothes and didn't wear half of them.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog. You are always so thoughtful and I truly appreciate the time you take to leave such heartfelt words. I'm so glad you've been enjoying your time in Aruba. You deserve it! I love the stir-fry you made and the fact that you used REAL Italian dressing!! Way to go.. :)

I am off to vote for you!! You definitely deserve to win.

    Love you!!

Yummy, yummy, vegan stir fry! I keep saying I'm going to switch to all vegan, high-raw but I can't bring myself to eat cooked food yet. I think my OCD is taking charge.

It looks like Skylar is having a wonderful time in Aruba! A child's delight is better than gifts on Christmas : ) I love the pictures of you two!

That toast looks so yummy! My favorite food when I was vegan was sourdough or vegan raisin bread with Earth Balance, yum!

    (Yes, I have re-gifted) ; )
