Fruity Vanillla Chia Seed Smoothie & Where Do You Live?
Hump Day, woot! This week’s going fast, just the way I like them! What have you been up to? I’ve been super busy. I’ve been teaching lots of yoga, dealing with windshield cracks and I appreciate everyone’s tips and stories about not only fixing windshields, but also your thoughts on karma and whether it exists or not.
And you know I’ve been a Big Baller.
Yesterday’s post was something I have been wanting to do for quite some time: Assemble all my Balls and Holes Recipes in One Post!

Today I ran around and got my new
Crackberry Blackberry fired up and the data transferred at the Verizon store like I mentioned over the weekend I would be doing. Thank you so much for your tips, advice, and stories regarding iPhones, Blackberries, the Droid Phones, you name it, thank you! As much as I want the iPhone, I have heard from a few locals here that they drop alot of calls so I am still on the fence because I have no issues with Verizon’s service, just the phone isn’t quite as cool as I wish. So, still not sure what my plans are with that. Anyone else want to chime in on phones? Feel free, I’d love to hear your input!

The good fats in the chia seeds and all the fiber in the fruit made this a filling, and tasty on-the-go breakfast!
For dinner last night, I made Scott a salad and paired it with my quick-and-easy (not vegan) quesadillas:
Take a handful of red peppers, a few precooked chicken strips, a handful of cheese, put it all inside two high fiber, whole wheat tortilla shells. Melt for 1 minute in the micro and dinner’s ready!

I just devoured a huge salad: raw kale, mixed greens, cauli, brock, tomatoes, red peppers, cukes, carrots
And dressed it with Vegan Holiday-Spice Orange Vinaigrette
And being that not a day goes by without this raw feast…
Here is my daily kale, cukes, brock, cauli, and tomato raw salad.
With of course Homemade Vegan Slaw Dressing. Sweet, tangy, perfect.
For a snack I had a little chocolate. A Chocolate Brownie Pure Bar.
But that really was not enough chocolate for me. So I broke into my stash of Raw Vegan Dark Chocolate Cherry Balls.
Ahhh. Chocolate and cherries, you seduce me. And I kinda like it.
Yoga Today is Warrior 3 (Virabhadrasana III)
Find your gazing point, your drishti, and do not look around once you focus your gaze. Take slow and steady breaths, find your balance, your center, your calm; draw your attention inwards, and lift that back leg up and extend your arms. Voila, you’re there!

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? I have lived all over the country (MN, IL, NC, SC, CA, and now AZ) and my fave place was California. The vibe, the weather, the people, the yoga there, just everything was “me”. Do you think the place you’re living suits you? Will you try to move? How important is it to you to live near your family? Your friends? If you’re in a relationship, would you move for the other person if they had to take a job somewhere else, or just didn’t like the place you’re currently living? Would you uproot yourself for that person? Just curious about where you live, and why?! So many people complain this time of year that they “hate the weather” where they’re living…but I wonder, would you just pick up and move? I have from the midwest to a beach town in NC, and it was great! Didn’t know a soul, didn’t care, either! How ’bout you?
