3 Hours of Free Time

Is anyone watching any football games today?

Scott is watching the Bears game.  I couldn’t care less but he’s excited.  He will be watching it at a sports bar so when he starts screaming at the TV, I don’t have to listen to it.  Katie, I know you’ll be watching the Packers vs. Bears showdown, no doubt!

I have an entire post called Game Day Recipes that the football or sports fans in your life may enjoy.   Everything is plant-based.  No wings ‘n blue cheese dips.

But I do have Vegan Chili

…and Vegan Fajitas with Lime-Cumin dip instead.

I am more of the mindset to take Skylar to the park rather than watch football.  These are some recent neighborhood photos.

Because when the flowers are blooming in January and the sun is shining, it’s time to be outside!

Either outside or munching on a green bowl.  With a mustard drizzle.

And Vegan Slaw Dressing, too.  Sweet-n-tangy meets mustard.
I love mustard!  Even in unexpected places.

This weekend I made and ate lots of Microwave Banana Oat Cakes

I had some bananas that were calling my name.  And Skylar’s, too.  So, I made us lots of banana oat cakes the past few days.

Some plain, some with syrup, and some with Peanut Butter on top.

I am glad you liked my Hidden Treasures post.  It was fun to hear what hidden treasures you’ve found lately.

And yes I do have a ton of MAC MakeupAnd I kinda like it that way.  Tons of you told me I have a mini-store in my house.  Kind of, yes.  Variety is the spice of life.   And lip gloss.

Questions
1. Best Thing You’ve Ate or Done This weekend?
I was really productive around the house, I had a great day at work, and had a super at home workout and power walk with the family.

2. Are you watching any football games this weekend?  Are you a fan?
No, and no.  I am not a sports fan.  But I am a shopping mall when the game is on, fan.

3. If you had 3 hours to spare, what would you do?  Watch a game on TV?
I will probably take Skylar to the park, run a few errands, do housework, blog reading and writing, and who knows what else.  And let Scott enjoy his time watching the game.  Out of the house.

In general, if I had 3 hours to spare and I could forget about the piles of housework, cooking, cleaning, errands, emails, caring for Skylar, and not worry about everything on my To Do List, I’d like to:

Watch mindless TV (Kendra, Kardashians, Real Housewives, Millionaire Matchmaker)
Read magazines
Talk on the phone with friends
Meet up with friends
Cook and not bother taking a single picture of it
Go for a leisurely stroll and not bring a watch
Sit on the beach if it was nice
Do Yoga
Take a Nap!

What would you do with 3 Free Hours?
