I cheated on my old friend, Unite.
We’ve had a good run, but after my recent Brazilian Blowout (I’ve only had two), my hair was feeling dry and the Unite just wasn’t giving me the results I wanted.
After a Brazilian Blowout, you’re only supposed to use sulfate-free products in order to lengthen the life of the treatment. Unite had been my shampoo of choice for the past six months or so.
But, on a whim at Rite-Aid, I grabbed this Loreal EverStrong Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner. It’s also vegan.
Verdict: I love it!
The very first day after I used it, two women I work with both said my hair looked great. One jokingly asked me, “What did you do? Wash it?”
She knows that I only wash it every third day. I told her yes, I did wash it, but with new shampoo. She said well keep using it because your hair looks phenomenal. After just one shampooing.
It left my hair soft, smelling good, clean feeling and clean looking, and the shampoo suds’ed up well in the shower. Many sulfate-free shampoos don’t suds or leave me feeling not perfectly clean and like I need to wash my hair, again.
So there’s my plug for $6.99 shampoo and $6.99 conditioner. There are many formulas and varieties within the EverPure line so if you need a sulfate-free shampoo and don’t want to break the bank, check it out. It’s a new favorite, for sure.
The Real Housewives of NYC are back. I love the RHW’s of Orange County, New York, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New Jersey (in that order). D.C., sorry ladies, I never got into you.
I’ve posted about my fave TV shows before. I keep the E Channel and Bravo in business. And nothing is overly cerebral. Read: trashy, mindless tv. It’s a perfect way to unwind and zone out.
My spontaneous trip that I just planned!
Photography. And I have a really fun event that I am attending this weekend! I will post about it, of course.
All the recipes I read about every single day in the blogosphere. I see so many amazing, wonderful recipes every day!
Katie gave back to the sphere with her Vegan Bake Sale for Japan.
I’d like to spread the love and help showcase some recipes that are spectacular and maybe we can all find some new recipes and blogs in the process.
So if here’s the deal:
In the comments section of this post, leave ONE LINK to the recipe on your site you’re most proud of or that you feel is simply spectacular.
It doesn’t have to be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, raw, “healthy”, or fit any other criteria other than you think it’s spectacular. Your best of.
I will snag the pictures from your site, so all I need is a comment on this post with one direct link to the recipe. Please do not email me. I will compile a master post with pictures and will post them all soon.
From my last post on Credentials and Making Things, it was fun to hear just how diverse you all are and how many interesting and unique credentials and letters behind your name you have!
And I’m glad you all make some cool stuff, too.
