Fantastic Food Finds
Here’s a roundup of some food and recipes that have had me drooling the past week or so. Enjoy!
Brown Eyed Bakers Chocolate Bourbon Walnut Pie

Leanne’s Spicy Mango Rice Bowl With Tofu (or chicken)

The Little Yellow Kitchen’s Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

I adore cream cheese frosting.
Remember my Fudgy Nutella Brownies with Cream Cheese Frosting?
The frosting is almost as thick as the brownie. Just the way I like it.
Joy the Baker’s Sweet Tea Bourbon Cocktails

I love Sweet Tea Vodka. With vodka drinking pictures to prove it. I should try sweet tea + bourbon, next.
Ashley’s Pea Dip and Veggie Wraps

Rachael’s Avocado Mango Donburi Japanese Rice Bowl

Christine’s Banana Chocolate Kale Chips

If you want Chocolate Coconut Kale Chips, you could try my version
Even Scott who “doesn’t like kale” loved these!
The Culinary Chronicle’s Key Lime Cheesecake

Jenny’s Salted Chocolate Covered Fluffer Nutter Wafters

Allie’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pops

I have high Raw Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
And I have Chocolate Covered Oreo Balls
And I have No Bake Vanilla Cake Batter Chocolate Truffles
Now I’m thinking that I need to: dip my cookie dough into a chocolate bath and put them on a stick! Everything tastes better on a stick. Have you seen Matt’s new book, On a Stick?
Great Reads of the Week:
Joy the Baker’s Post on Turning 21. Perspective, advice, and a great top 20 list, from a 30 year old.
Leanne’s Post on Photography 101. A gem!
Angela’s Post on Hot Yoga. Recounts her first experience beautifully. With a followup here.
From my last post about my Blogger Meetup In Aruba, I am glad you enjoyed all the pictures of my time with Morgan.
And thanks for telling me about the blogger meetups you’ve had and who you’d like to meet.
Questions:
1. Weekend plans?
Time at the beach and pool with Scott and Skylar!

2. Any food, recipes, or posts that you’ve seen lately that have you inspired? Or have you made anything phenomenal lately?
The best thing I made this week was Cheesy Taco Casserole
Or the Taste of the Tropics Smoothie
Have a great weekend!

You are such a sweetie, thanks for the shout out! I’m off to check out those truffles . . . *swoon*!

Weather is getting nice here in Ontario, Canada now. Still, seeing all these beach pics makes me ready to get away.

No, I do not remember your fudgy nutella brownies, but I’d sure like to. ;)
Definitely remember the chocolate coconut kale chips, and I keep asking myself why I haven’t tried them yet.
So, been meaning to email you. Shooting in the raw and hoping to get better photo editing software soon. However, when I upload the photos, my macbook slows down. Every time I open iPhoto, I get a constant pinwheel. Driving me MAD!!!! Do you store all your photos on an external hard drive? I have an appt. with the Genius Bar on Monday to try and figure something out. Doing anything on my computer is not taking me twice as long. It’s so slooowwwww.
