Summer Tea Time Giveaway

I recently received this Summer Brewing Kit from Mighty Leaf Tea

Four boxes of their tea featuring hand-blended, whole-leaf tea leaves, luscious fruits and aromatic herbs in the industry’s original eco-friendly tea pouch:

o   Sunburst Green Iced Tea:  A cool and vibrant fresh brewed iced green tea, it delivers the crisp taste of sun ripened oranges and sweet citrus that brighten mountain-grown Chinese green tea leaves. The lowest in caffeine among all four flavors.

o   Ginger Peach Iced Tea:  A blissful and lightly sweet fresh-brewed iced tea, this black leaf tea is infused with sun-swelled peaches and delicate ginger.

o   Calypso Mango Iced Tea:  A sweet and cooling fresh-brewed iced tea with an indulging blend of luscious mango and tropical fruit that drench South Indian black tea leaves.

o   Organic Black Iced Tea:  Made of refreshingly rich and smooth South Indian organic black tea leaves that are hand-picked on the dewy slopes of the Nilgiri mountains, these vibrant organic tea leaves unleash a fresh iced tea with dark amber hue.

As well as a Flash Iced Tea Brewer which allows you to have iced cold tea in just minutes.

One half-gallon of gourmet Mighty Leaf Iced Tea can be freshly-brewed and savored in less than five minutes.

I love jasmine pearl tea. It is my favourite.

My favorite tea is Celestial Seasonings’ Echinacea. I usually prefer loose leaf tea, but this one just smells SO AMAZING when you first open the box, and it’s such a delicious blend. I drink at least 4 cups of tea a day, but I always like to end with either CS’s echinacea or sleepytime.

I have very simple tea tastes – during the summer, I brew sweet tea with Luzianne iced tea bags, and during the cooler months, I favor Twinings English Breakfast Tea with a spoonful of sugar (sometimes caffeinated, sometimes decaf). I also recently rediscovered the lovely flavor of Constant Comment (which I somehow associate with growing up…I guess because that was one of Mom’s preferences?). Mmm, mmm. As a non-coffee person, tea is something I always enjoy! =)

I like a variety of teas. Some of my favorites are orange, lemon or raspberry teas. One of my absolute favorite teas is a honey citron tea from Korea :)

My favorite hot tea is Chai- I love the spiciness, and it pairs perfectly with soymilk or almond milk. I also love black or raspberry ICED tea- especially good in the summer!

I love trying new teas. Green tea is my favorite staple because of its bountiful healthful properties with anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting agents. I love all mixes of green tea! The book “Anticancer: A New Way of Life” by Dr. David Servan-Schreiber spells out that we only need a few cups a day to reap the health benefits of green tea, but I prefer even more. I can’t get enough!

Thanks for offering the giveaway Averie! I retweeted too :) As for tea vs. coffee, I have equal love for both, but for different reasons. I love Mariage Freres teas from France and Dunkin coconut iced coffee makes my summer!

Mint tea is my daily pick-me-up! I had this orange-ginger tea at Panera once that had such a lovely warm tingle. I can’t find it in any stores! Ack!!

i love yogi, mighty leaf, and allegro teas. i don’t think i could pick an all time favorite, but right now i am digging allegro’s thirst tamer tea. the orange and vanilla are perfectly balanced and refreshing, not overly sweet or tangy, and so smooth. it makes a really great iced tea. i’m also enjoying mighty leaf’s detox tea. when i’m feeling really blah, i brew some and it livens me up.

I love plain old Lipton’s iced tea (is there a name for that flavor?!). My favorite thing about going out to eat is drinking giant glasses of iced tea with lemon like a camel at an oasis.

For hot tea, I love chai. My fave ice teas are half and half – black teas and lemonade. AZ tea has Arnold Palmer blend which introduced us to half&half and everyone in the family loved it. Now there are more choices which is great as we do love variety.
