A Sticky Giveaway

I recently won Jess’ giveaway for Tropical Traditions Organic Brown Rice Syrup and it just arrived.

In any of my recipes that call for agave or maple syrup, interchanging them is usually fine. I am the queen of wing-it and use what you have on hand.

And I am sure the brown rice syrup will be fun to try out in many of my recipes, too.

  2. I use it interchangeably with honey and barley malt – it’s nice and thick (and messy). My favorite use of it so far has been for the “caramel” pecan bars in Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. It’s great in granola bars, too. I have never seen the Tropical Traditions version, though; I usually use Eden Foods. Thanks for hosting this giveaway. :)

    I would use the brown rice syrup in my homemade granola or in scones. I’m new at trying non-sugar items in my baking, but so far I love it!
