Organic Raw Honey Giveaway

Recently I received some Tropical Traditions Raw Honey

100% Organic

See that 100% Organic honey on the bottom there

From the Tropical Traditions site:

Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow (same temperatures the honey would see inside the hive). We select only premium honey that is pure, smooth and creamy, with the consistency of soft margarine at harvest. It contains live yeast and enzymes, because it has not been processed. It also contains pollen because it has not been filtered—merely screened.

The Tropical Traditions honey is amazing!

It’s not like the honey you buy that looks like this.

Regular “grocery store” honey has no where near the wonderful flavor that raw honey has.

Raw honey is full-bodied, rich, smooth.  You just have to try it.

I love honey and use it in my:

Sweet & Sour Honey Lemon Tofu

Pumpkin Honey Tofu

This tastes like pumpkin bread and is soft and spongey.  See the post how I get it to be bread-like.

You can use honey, agave, or maple syrup in No-Bake Vegan Peanut Butter Protein Bars

And really in most any place I use agave in my recipes, such as in Raw Vegan Dark Chocolate Fudge Balls

Or High Raw Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

…Feel free to try honey!

I also discussed the honey + veganism issue here

Raw honey is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. I first had it in Hawaii I swear it tastes like frosting. Only better.

I already subscribed to the newsletter a few months ago. I like to use honey for sweetening hot tea, use in recipes and also and on warm homemade bread. Another thing I use honey for is allergy treatment for my daughter. I only use local honey for that.

I use a lot of honey – but my most recent thing was raw sunflower brittle with 2 cups sprouted sunflower seeds and 1/2 cup honey and a little bit of salt, dehydrated for about 24 hours. Sooo good.
