I most love plain Greek yogurt, to which I’ll add fresh or frozen blueberries and a little bit of honey. As for cooking or baking, I’ll add it in the place of sour cream and I’ll use it to make a tangy cucumber sauce when I make chickpea curry.

Honestly the only yogurt I will eat is Chobani. Years ago I bought myself 1 cup of the pineapple flavor and it was love at first bite. My fiance used to ridicule me for buying the more expensive yogurt, but I convinced him to try it and he too has been converted into a Chobani fan. I don’t know what it is, but the other greek yogurt brands just don’t hold a candle to the Chobani. My favorite flavors are the black cherry (YYYUUUMMM), raspberry and when I really want to treat myself the pineapple (2%). My fiances favorite flavors are the strawberry banana and the pineapple. The thick, creamy texture makes me feel like I am eating a decadent treat, but I know it is actually healthy for me. I read several weeks ago that these new flavors were coming out but I haven’t seen them in my grocery store yet. So excited to try the new flavors!

I like to use greek yogurt with my morning oats topped with ground flaxseed and usually almonds or walnuts. I also use it in smoothies and baked goods to help level out the carb to protien ratio for the hubby since he is a diabetic.

I live 2 hours away from Twin Falls, ID which is where Chobani has chosen to locate their second production facility in the U.S.. Yay!! The groundbreaking was last month and construction is underway!
