$1.99

A couple days ago I found this Peppermint Mocha Coffee-Mate at Target. At my Target, it was only for sale in the smaller 16-ounce size for $1.99

I would prefer the larger 32-ounce size, since I like a little coffee with my creamer, but I was simply thrilled to see it available for sale at all, because I thought it had been discontinued for the season. I guess not according to the package label:

NEW- Now Enjoy It All Year!

Yes, I think I will. And did.

I had a delicious cup of pepperminty coffee, which was perfect on a Saturday morning.

Then I went on a nice run…

And came home and took a shower and enjoyed the vanilla-meets-passion flower new Suave bodywash I also found.

If you like vanilla scents that are more “clean” than heavy, try this Suave. Vanilla meets floral and fruity fresh without being too much. I started wearing men’s deodorant, so I am not into things that are too floral lately, but am digging this bodywash.

My other favorite $1.99 purchase lately is Peanut Butter M&M’s. I love peanut M&Ms but the peanut butter are every bit as good, and possibly better than, the classic peanut variety.

I used them in Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookies with PB Cups & PB M&M’s

What was the last thing you bought for 1.99 that you’ve really enjoyed? Or anything under $5 bucks that you love?

The $1.99 Coffee-Mate and the $1.99 Suave were definitely the best uses of 1.99 all week. All year, actually.

Under $5 bucks…

This cookie scoop

A couple new iTunes songs

Maybelline Great Lash- Big Mascara

What has been the best part of your weekend so far?

Thanks for the entries on the Personalized Pens Giveaway

Peanut butter M&M’s > any other M&M :) Although, pretzel are a close 2nd for me! Love the sweet & salty.

Good to hear you can now enjoy your creamer year-round!

The last thing I bought u dear five dollars, here ya go….I went to a neighbors yard sale I got three books, two medium sized framed pictures for the house, sunglasses, a cool hat, a cook book on vegetarianism, and a few gardening tools all for 3.50. It was crazy . She just wanted everything gone she said. I watched her sell everything from her bathroom( ten or more towels, wash clothes, all the decorations and floor mats) to a lady for only .50 cents. It was a pretty good morning :-) I found and tried your peanut butter Cheerios, pretty good! :-)

I love it when I find good things for not much money. I found a bag of gluten-free jelly beans at Walgreens for less than a dollar! Gotta love Easter candy :)

No big weekend plans, but hopefully that means lots of snuggle time with my husband.

I found a caramel coffee at TJ Maxx and thought of you ;-) The best part of the weekend so far was spending part of the day with my mom. Great lunch, some shopping, and perfect weather. Not much to complain about.

I just bought a crapton of vegetable seeds to start an indoor container “garden”. Each packet cost 1.99, so the total was more than $1.99. BUT! I got three kinds of lettuce, two kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers, basil, cilantro, eggplant, okra, radish, two heirloom seed packets – dragon beans and some tomatoes, and some others that I can’t remember.

I also got several surejel boxes on sale for 1.99. Jam awaits!

Hey girl! The best part of my week is today! I just signed up for a free trial of lightroom and I love it!! It’s confusing to navigate so I am trying to figure it all out, but the 2 pictures I have edited so far look great and so much better than my iPhoto ones. I am going to go back and fix all my other photos when the time permits. I do have a question though, how do you figure lightroom out? Is there a tutorial that explains the features or is it just trial and error?

Thanks girl! I hope you have been enjoying the summer weather like we have been. We were at the pool the past three days! Whoo hoo!

Trial and error is the best way. As with anything in life, really :) There are tons of youtube videos but until you play around with your images and how your eyes feel they look best, it’s really all “just theory” until you try it…HAVE FUN!!!

ah I wanted to love your blog based on the title, but soooo many chemicals in coffee-mate… suave… and M&Ms (though the PB ones are a guilty pleasure of mine as well… that I’ll indulge in maybe twice a year)… you should check out EWG to see what’s in that suave and try some peppermint extract, cocoa powder, and real milk in your coffee.

No cheap thrills for me in the shopping dept. this weekend but you sure scored a great bottle of coffee creamer! I’ll have to see if Target has it here. Love the PB m&m’s– they’re like big Reese’s pieces! Went to a great concert tonight.

I love those creamers. Although we do get some pretty decent flavours here in Canada, peppermint mocha isn’t one of them so when we hit up Buffalo around Christmas I stock up! :)

Trying hard to think of what I love that’s less than $1.99. Fresh fruit on the streets of NYC (where a banana is 50 cents) and definitely a new song iTunes. Currently obsessed with new age yoga music. Best part of the weekend: dancing my booty off last night in Atlantic City.

Great cheap scores! I just bought a bunch of cheap, curly-hair friendly hair products at Target that were on sale under $1.99 – woot! The best part of my weekend was a wonderful, destressing run and vegan meal at Baagan.
