Ani Phyo Cookbooks Giveaway – Set of Two

I recently received these two Ani Phyo Cookbooks:

Her latest book, Ani’s 15 Day Fat Blast

And her classic Ani’s Raw Food Essentials, which is now available in paperback

I have always been drawn to Ani’s approach to cooking and her cookbooks. Her little pink book of 85 Raw Food Desserts is one of my favorite raw dessert-making books because Ani does not like to hassle with overly complicated or long and drawn-out recipes. As far as raw foodies go, I find she has some of the simplest and most straight-forward recipes.

For the most part, her ingredients are easy to find and source and a shopping trip won’t break the bank.

She makes things that don’t take days and days to dehydrate and I usually cannot plan days in advance and her recipes are sensitive to that.

Some of my favorite raw or no-bake, vegan, and gluten-free recipes include:

Chocolate Coconut Kale Chips

Raw Pasta Salad with Creamy Lemon & Herb Dressing

Raw Vegan Caramels

Raw Taco Salad with Raw Taco Nut “Meat”

No-Bake Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

Vegan Seeds Only Crackers (Homemade Mary’s Crackers)

No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

One lucky reader will win a copy of both of these books.

I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years but lately I have been in a funk and am not feeling “healthy”. I am looking to take it to the next level. I would love to learn more about raw food and how to artfully prepare raw meals.

Thanks- I love your blog and the new look. Look forward to reading everyday!

One of my favorite raw recipes to make is any kind of raw cookie dough. I have been hooked on chocolate peanut butter cookie dough bites, but nothing beats the taste of sweet dried cherries and chocolate. Mix those two together and I am in a bliss! http://hintjewelry.blogspot.com/2012/05/raw-food-recipe-chocolate-cherry.html (< chocolate cherry gingerbread cookies, raw)

I actually went raw just about a month ago (Friday will be my 1 month Raw-Versary. SO PROUD OF MYSELF!). I have been scouring the internet for Raw recipes, in fact I stumbled upon Ani’s website yesterday and copied a bunch of her recipes, however I have yet to invest in raw cook books or uncook books rather (money is a funny thing, isn’t it?). I have been contimplating buying a book or two- as easy as it is to eat raw (peel a banana, eat some carrots), when a craving hits for something more complex it can be rreeaallyy HARD to satisfy……….

    My favorite Raw recipe:
    – Raw Greek Pasta Salad- Spiralize a cucumber, chop up tomatoes, olives and onions and dress it in a homemade greek style dressing. YUM! I love anything cucumber and a couple times when I needed to eat quickly (as in- if I don’t eat something now I just might passout from hunger, or start spooning peanut butter, LOL), I chopped up one or two english cucumbers, sprinkled them with herbamare and ate!
I also LOVE green smoothies, fresh fruit, salads and marinated mushrooms!
