Capresso 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker Giveaway

I recently received this Capresso 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker (SG120) and it’s Capresso’s newest addition to their line of coffee makers.

It’s a compact and stylish machine that is perfect for any coffee lover, including college students heading back to school where space is at a premium, or for those who enjoy entertaining or hosting brunches where brewing 12 cups for a crowd and sipping on plenty of java is essential.

Brewing a great cup of coffee is a science. The amount of time the water is in contact with the coffee grounds directly relates to the final taste of the brew.

All Capresso coffee makers brew coffee in less than one minute per cup which means coffee will never be over-extracted or bitter.

Features and Benefits

  • Brews 12 cups of coffee in under 10 minutes for maximum flavor and aroma
  • Full stainless steel wrapped housing provides superior strength and style
  • Glass carafe with ergonomic handle has brew through lid and drip-free pouring spout
  • Permanent GoldTone filter is easy to use and easy to clean
  • 24-hour programmable clock/timer with easy to read blue back lit LCD display
  • Special Aroma setting slows down the brewing process to maximize flavor when brewing a full pot and to ensure the best taste when brewing a few cups at a time
  • Multiple nozzles spray water evenly onto ground coffee ensuring full saturation of grounds and maximum brewing quality
  • Easy to fill internal water level indicator displays 2 to 12 cup markings
  • Drip stop allows you to pour a cup while brewing
  • Coated non-stick warming plate
  • Two hour safety shut off

This machine is solidly built, makes great coffee, and I’ll be brewing with it for years to come.

I’ve never met a cup of coffee or specialty coffee drink I didn’t like:

Vanilla Iced Coffee – So easy and I’ve never understood why people make a bigger deal out of it than it really is.

Iced Coffee-Making Tips: Save your leftover coffee; put in a pitcher or jar in the refrigerator, and pour over ice the next day; add cream and sugar or fix it how you enjoy it.

Also, pour leftover coffee into ice cube trays and freeze to create coffee ice cubes, and use those rather than traditional ice cubes to prevent iced coffee from getting watered down.

my perfect cup of coffee is one I drink in Manhattan (and i drink it every where i am… but it just seems to taste better amiss the hustle and bustle of NYC!) Anyway, it’s a Starbucks cafe misto with soy milk, no foam, and caramel flavoring. I like to recreate this delicious drink at home with Starbucks Tribute blend and thick vanilla soymilk and a caramel drizzle

    I hope i win!

My perfect cup of coffee is a dark roast that is very earthy, not bitter. There is a local coffee shop in Des Moines, IA, Zanzibar’s, that gets it right every single time.

My favorite cup of coffee at home (in the am) is cafe bustelo, almond milk, stevia and LorAnn flavor drops (peppermint- chocolate, hazelnut-vanilla, or toffee-almond are my usual combos). We always have some type of flavored creamer at work–peppermint mocha is my favorite!

I am in absolute love with coffee frappacinos from Starbucks and Coffee Coolattas from Dunkin’ Donuts. At home I usually play it safe with just coffee, but I also make a mean Vegan Mocha Milkshake. (I think I feel a post coming on….) I’ll send a link if I actually end up making one soon. Thanks! I hope I win because my Dad’s old coffee machine is simply NOT up to par and a girl really needs her coffee.

I drink my coffee strong and black and I’m really not too picky about brand! Does that make me not a real coffee drinker? ;) I have been on a Panera kick lately, I love their coffee.

My favorite cup of coffee is the first one I drink when I wake up in the morning. I buy coffee from a local coffee roaster, Dalai Java (thedalaijava.com). Then I like a splash of creamer – really any kind. I’m not big on anything super sweet: vanilla, hazelnut, irish cream will do, basically any brand. So yummy.

ohmygoodness! I need this! When I left, I left my coffee maker and am so missing a good hot mug right now! My perfect cup is dark: no cream, no sugar. Black, rich coffee. I love buying an organic hazelnut blend. very rich and tasty.

Perfect cup of coffee lately is brewed at home, Fiddleheads brand coffee. It’s a Wisconsin brand.
I have my favorite mug and add a dash of cinnamon in the grounds before brewing. All with a splash of milk!

It is boring, but nostalgic. Strong, black coffee in a syrofoam cup. Reminds me of the first summer I became a coffee drinker, while studying abroad in Costa Rica. I will sometimes indulge and order Cafe Britt online from CR.

I use to be addicted to French vanilla creamer! Now that I’m so rushed in the morning I am addicted to Starbucks vanilla latte with soy milk. We also have a local coffee shop that has almond milk so if I have time (and extra money) I go there.

Not going to lie I may be a coffee addict!

Oooh Oooh. I love coffee!! My best cup has just the right amount of organic half and half, say a one Mississippi count pour, with a 1/8tsp stevia extract (made by me). If the ratio gets messed up, it is a sad morning….until my second cup. :)
