There are only two of us in my house now and I’ve never really managed to limit my dishes for two people and my husband doesn’t really like leftovers so I love to have one of these to save my dinners to have for my lunch in the future.

Hmm how will I use this? I think it would be sooo useful when bulk cooking for the week (or dare I say month?). What will I seal with this? How about cooked rice in batches large enough for a meal? Oh ya!

i can no longer find bags for my seal-a-meal that i bought from sears back in the 70s. the foodsaver would be quite a step up from that. bags are available, and the foodsaver vacuum seals. seal-a-meal wasn’t vacuum.

I just found out my best friend is having a baby! She has been trying for years. We plan to get together to bake and cook many healthy meals for her family to have in the future. This would be a life-saver!! Thanks! I have so many of your recipes pinned to make for her. (and me.)

Hi Averie. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway. I freeze a lot of meat and without a sealer that means flash freezing everything and wrapping it separately and then bagging them & making sure I get all the air out. It’s a lot of work, expense, time and I’m sure not as sealed. This would be so helpful.

I first started cooking and baking to help while Mom was at work, there were 6 of us kids so I never cooked small. Fast forward 40+ years it’s just G’Ma and I and I still can’t cook small having lots of left-overs.
The Food Saver Sealer would be PERFECT to seal up our left-overs into multi-meals, saving us from eating the same thing 3 or 4 days in a row.
AND, I could once again start saving a bit more money buying larger quantities and repackaging.
It just keeps getting better!
