  1. Will hang a bunch of red balloons around the house that day to make it festive for our kids. Cupcakes are probably also on the agenda!

  2. our normal:
breakfast: heart waffles with red (strawberry syrup)
lunch: sandwiches cut into heart shapes
    dinner: homemade lasagna

dessert: strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream and red sprinkles

  3. At the moment I haven’t really thought about it.
Something with chocolate probably as it is a wonderful favorite of my husband.

  4. My husband and I have “Bistro” night. We pick a theme (this year will be Vietnamese) and make appetizers we’ve never made before. The more exotic, the better. We prepare them together and then share them together while practicing our dancing to some wonderful music.

  5. I’m planning on hiring a babysitter so that for the first time in 4 years my husband and I can actually go out on Valentine’s Day and spend some time alone just staring into each other’s eyes over a delicious meal.

  6. I’m working the evening shift on Valentine’s Day :0( I plan to make some snickerdoodles the weekend before though, since they are my boyfriend’s favorite.

  7. I plan on combining Valentines Day and Mardi Gras together since they are days apart and both fun. I am going to spend it with my to favorite guys, my hubby and my six year old. I have pinned 6 recipes to try for that week of V-day and Mardi Gras to make my guys happy! Love them and cant wait to try them.

  8. nothing – in the process of trying to get out of a 20+ year relationship that turned abusive and am alone so not really in the mood for celebrating “love”

  9. I have no idea what I will make for V-Day this year, but I know it will include my partner’s favorite chocolate chip cookies :)
