Pretty much everything from Averie’s website. But I’d start with the chocolate chip and chunk cookies, which are excellent.

I’ve been wanting one of these mixers for years, but could never justify putting the money out for one. I was super-happy to see this contest right up until I read: “Open to USA only.”

    -sigh-

I guess I’ll get back in my igloo and drink maple syrup until the pain goes away. ;-)

Oh Averie, i SO used to want one of these. This and a blender. But then I realized (as I turned24 in november) that I am fine baking (almost daily) by hand without tools. The only thing I had to have is a scale (mecanic, not elecrtic). Maybe one day I will buy a mixer, since making meringues by hand is heavy work. But then again, one tool only for one purpose? Sounds like wasted space to me. But I still see how that kitchenaid is the dream of many home-bakers, it is so pretty and promises to do the hard work for you!

I just started making healthy sandwich bread for the kids. It is so much better than store bought, or even in the bread maker. I would definitely use my Kitchen Aid stand mixer to mix lots of dough for breads and cookies.
