25 Copycat Recipes and Cookbook Giveaway

Certain foods like Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls, Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars, and Girl Scout Thin Mints, I just adore.

Rather than being dependent on going to mall for my fix, waiting for seasonally-available items to come around, or over-paying for storebought, I came up with at-home, copycat versions of the real thing.

Included are 25 of my Favorite Copycat and Knock-Off Recipes, as well as some fun DIY recipes, such as making your own vanilla extract or peanut butter that save money and taste far better than storebought.

I think it’d be awesome to be able to make the All-American Chocolate Cake from Costco… not that I’d make it all the time, but just to do it once we be fun! I haven’t had it in years, but I remember loving it.

There are some great Thai places in and around Chicago that I would love to re-create since I’ve moved away from there. Mama Thai’s Pad Woonsen is the BEST I’ve ever had! Would love to make it at home!

Sad I missed the giveaway–what planet was I on for the last week? Anywaaaays, I am LOVING this post, Averie! So fun and inspirational to try make such cult-favorite or classic recipes at home. I’m definitely trying that Star Crunch soon, making my dad homemade ginger ale so we won’t have to buy it constantly anymore, and I am contemplating whipping up those KK donuts as we speak. Duuuuude, you’re going to make me fat, but I’ll forgive you :)
