Crock-Pot® Programmable Slow Cooker with iStir™ Stirring System Giveaway

Set it and forget it. How good does that sound in this season of fussy holiday cookies and complicated menu plans.

It sounds pretty darn amazing to me.

Anything that helps save time in the kitchen, or enables me to have one dinner ready and waiting, or have an appetizer or even dessert practically made for me, the happier I am.

It’s possible with the newest and most innovative Crock-Pot® Programmable Slow Cooker with iStir™ Stirring SystemiStir™ does the stirring for you so you don’t have to.

With the slow cooker’s countdown digital timer and automatic stirring, you are provided the convenience of preparing food with perfect results, even if you are not in the kitchen.

Simply prepare ingredients, set cook time and attach the motor housing with proper paddle in place. Choose the general purpose paddle for soup and chili or the stew paddle for thick stew and more dense dishes.

After an initial 2-hour delay, the stirring self-activates every 30 minutes to ensure thorough mixing and even heating until turned off.

  • Includes iStirTM Automatic stirring system with two removable stirring paddles: general purpose paddle and stew paddle

One of my favorite things to make in my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker are these Bourbon Maple Slow Cooker Baked Beans.

Unlike many baked bean recipes that start out with a pound of bacon fat, these are vegan, but are still packed with incredible depth of flavor.

Bourbon, maple syrup, brown sugar, molasses, BBQ sauce intensify and concentrate over time, and the resulting beans have incredible depth of flavor.

They’re sweet with a bit of heat, robust yet smooth, and extremely satisfying.

And most of all, they’re easy and nearly work-free thanks to my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker.

I don’t own a slow cooker, but just recently have been wondering if using one might help me eat more real food and less junk for dinner, as I don’t get home form work until after 6pm.

    Your baked beans look scrumptious!

That’s so cool! I use my slow cooker mainly to make beans, so it would be used for navy beans, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, mayocoba beans…all types!

I just love to use my crock pot, but it needs to be replaced badly. I think I have had it since I went to college in the 70’s – a faithful friend. I love to make soups, stews and chili this time of year. And I would like to learn how to make a whole roast chicken or pot roast in The Crock-Pot Programmable Slow Cooker with iStir system. Crossing my fingers!
