Hair Pics & Do You Like Your Hair, Full Moon Effects

Hi Friends!   I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend!  What are you up to?  I am workingA lot.  We are leaving for our trip soon and until then, I am working tons and have new business endeavors and multiple irons in the fire, and of course being a wife and mommy keeps me multi-tasking like crazy!

On Friday I got my roots touched up as I mentioned I was headed off to do.  Feels so good to get my hair color done when it just gets to that point.

It’s weird how the lighting just changes depending where I stand or hold the camera.  I go from pale to not in shot to shot.  Weird.

As long as we’re talking hair…

My favorite shampoo and conditioner lately is this Vegan, Gluten-Free, Sulfate-Free line called Unite.  I posted about my love for this Vegan, Gluten-Free, Sulfate-Free Shampoo here.

And yes, I still love my Brazilian Blowout, chemicals and all.   You don’t have write to me telling me about the formaldehyde.  I’ve heard already.  I will be getting another Brazilian Blowout when I return home from my trip because I’ve loved it so much and by then it will need touching up.

This hair has NOT been flat-ironed or heat styled.   It dried just like this.  And it was 90F and humid out.

Ok, enough hair talk but as long as I was talking color, why not talk about shampoo and the Braz Blowout, too.

From yesterday’s post on Getting Excited about (the Little) Things, it was fun to hear what you are excited about.

I whipped up some goodness with these chocolate discs already!  Most of the bag is gone.

And since it is Thanksgiving Week, I thought I’d mention my Thanksgiving Day Recipe Ideas post again.  It took me a long time to compile, so for selfish reasons, I am re-linking it…haha!

For example…

1. Best Thing You’ve Done or Ate so far this weekend?
Me = getting my hair done!   Not technically on the weekend, but close enough.   And of course being with my family has been great.

2. Do you like your hair?
Lots of women want seem to the hair they weren’t born with.   They want to be blond if they were born brunette, they want straight if they were born with curls.   They want waist-length hair after they just tried the latest short pixie cut.

I like my natural hair but I also enjoy tweaking it, too.  Ahem, color and a Brazilian Blowout.

3. Are you experimental with your hair?
Many of your asked if I was going to do something different with it?  No.

I am a creative in the kitchen but am old enough not to get “creative” with my hair anymore.   As you can see, it’s the same, but the roots aren’t as dark.

Long gone are the days of red highlights, pink highlights, super short funky cuts, black color, you name it, I’ve tried it.  But I will leave those days behind me now and stick with my medium-long and blond hair now, thank you very much!

4.   Today is a Full Moon.  I’ve posted before about the Full Moon and How it Effects Us

Everything from insomnia, sleep disturbances, irritability, moodiness, heated interpersonal exchanges, to computers and tech-related things going all glitchy and malfunctioning.

Have you noticed any full moon effects the past few days?
I sure have!  I have had a few interpersonal exchanges that have been more intense than usual, and I have been more emotional the past few days.  That could also be due to working a lot and stress but I don’t downplay the full moon, either.

Have you noticed anything?

Time to do a quick run and a quick 20 Minute At Home Workout!

But before I do that workout, I am going to have one of these:
Homemade Chocolate Frosting on Vegan Gluten Free Rice Krispie Treats

That’s what I made with my new TJ’s Chocolate Discs:  Frosting
I used two-thirds of the bag of discs and followed This Recipe and the chocolate frosting came out wonderfully.

Have a great week, everyone!
