Capresso 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker Giveaway

I recently received this Capresso 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker (SG120) and it’s Capresso’s newest addition to their line of coffee makers.

It’s a compact and stylish machine that is perfect for any coffee lover, including college students heading back to school where space is at a premium, or for those who enjoy entertaining or hosting brunches where brewing 12 cups for a crowd and sipping on plenty of java is essential.

Brewing a great cup of coffee is a science. The amount of time the water is in contact with the coffee grounds directly relates to the final taste of the brew.

All Capresso coffee makers brew coffee in less than one minute per cup which means coffee will never be over-extracted or bitter.

Features and Benefits

  • Brews 12 cups of coffee in under 10 minutes for maximum flavor and aroma
  • Full stainless steel wrapped housing provides superior strength and style
  • Glass carafe with ergonomic handle has brew through lid and drip-free pouring spout
  • Permanent GoldTone filter is easy to use and easy to clean

  • Easy to fill internal water level indicator displays 2 to 12 cup markings
  • Drip stop allows you to pour a cup while brewing

  • Two hour safety shut off

This machine is solidly built, makes great coffee, and I’ll be brewing with it for years to come.

I’ve never met a cup of coffee or specialty coffee drink I didn’t like:

Vanilla Iced Coffee – So easy and I’ve never understood why people make a bigger deal out of it than it really is.

Iced Coffee-Making Tips: Save your leftover coffee; put in a pitcher or jar in the refrigerator, and pour over ice the next day; add cream and sugar or fix it how you enjoy it.

Also, pour leftover coffee into ice cube trays and freeze to create coffee ice cubes, and use those rather than traditional ice cubes to prevent iced coffee from getting watered down.

  13. im still trying to find a favorite brand, so far its been starbucks columbia & i love anything hazelnut added to it with a few stevias in there. i like slowly drinking it so i eventually get a colder version.

  14. When I go out, I love ordering cappuccinos with those fancy leaf designs in them, but at home I drink plain old hot black coffee from Trader Joe’s.

  15. I change the kind of coffee I drink depending on what’s on sale but the ones I purchase most frequently (here in NC – up North it was easier to find free trade blends) are Seattle’s Best (the medium dark) and the one I have right now which comes in a black bag (I totally can’t remember what kind it is) and it actually tastes like chocolate and I don’t generally believe coffees can taste like chocolate. Anyway, in my favorite mug which is about 12 oz and I add 3 tsp of sugar and about 3 tbsp silk original creamer.

  16. plain. plain and black. but with biscotti for dunking.

  17. I love Gevalia French Vanilla with a little sugar the best and am very pleased they are now carrying it over the counter in stores now! I also like Folgers black with a little sugar and for cold the Mocha Frappe’ at McDonalds. I get Averie Cooks on E-mail updates and on Facebook! Sure would love to win this coffeemaker! Thank You!

  18. My perfect cup of coffee is the frozen Cafe Au Lait at Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans; one of the only things that I’ll have dairy for (I get a bit of a tummy-ache) and yet another reason for me to miss home

  19. My perfect cup of coffee is Starbucks Sumatra with a little coconut syrup and some cream. Delicious!

  20. Skinny vanilla latte from starbucks! :)

My perfect cup of coffee is Starbucks Mocha Latte obviously, but at home I like Dunkin Doughnuts coffee, 2 or 3 tablespoons of Hot Chocolate, and about a half cup of milk!
