  4. my favorite way to get some extra protein after working out is by having a smoothie with powder… i haven’t bought a blender just yet so i’ve been buying pre-made smoothies (odwalla chocolate protein and naked protein zone are some of my favorites), but i’m in the market for a new post-workout protein source :)

  6. I love cottage cheese and peanut butter. Both are easy no-cook ways to add protein. I love mixing berries and cereal into my cottage cheese.

  14. my favorite protein shake is Pure Protein! all the other ones I’ve tired leave a gross, chalky taste behind. But the Pure Protein shakes are creamy, dreamy, and smooth. It’s like drinking a milkshake for breakfast! I also love that they’re low in calories!

  19. I’ve been sick as of the past 2 months, and eating has been super tough. But i’m trying hard to get back into eating again, and gaining weight. My favorite source of protein is chicken, but since I can’t eat it i’m settling for eating as many scrambled eggs and cheese as possible through out the day, and making protein smoothies and milkshakes with EAS 100% vanilla whey protein powder. I also drink a lot of Boost high calorie shakes(not very tasty after a while!) to get as much protein, and vitamins/minerals as I can.

  20. These days, my fave protein is the house-smoked salmon at Whole Foods. Indescribably good!

    For a quick snack though, I usually reach for a Detour Low Sugar Chocolate Chip Caramel protein bar. :)
