Pure Protein® bars provide the quality protein and great taste that is essential to a healthy, balanced diet and important for supporting lean muscle and an active lifestyle.

Protein plays a number of different roles in the body. It repairs body cells, builds and repairs muscles and bones, provides a source of energy, and controls many of the important processes in the body related to metabolism.

Incorporating protein into my daily diet doesn’t always come easy. I don’t eat animal flesh. No meat, fish, chicken, and although I do bake with eggs, I never sit down to a plate eggs and the same can be said for milk. I bake with milk and cream, but don’t drink much milk.

That’s where protein supplements come in handy. Although protein from food sources is ideal, sometimes I need a boost and Pure Protein products are one way I can quickly and easily incorporate protein into my everyday lifestyle.

  1. I like to get protein with beans and other plant based ways because I’m a vegetarian.

  2. I rely on quinoa, lots of beans and lentils and soy products at home. When travelling, I always try to bring protein bars as “insurance”.

  3. YUM! Love their products. Their bars are delicious. Right now I like to put either protein powder or peanut flour in my oatmeal for extra protein.

  4. I find ways to up my protein intake everyday — in the morning, I mix together 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 scoop of protein powder, 1/2 cup water, 1 egg white, and a half of a banana. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir, and add skim milk and honey to taste! You end up with about 1/2 carbs, 1/2 protein in terms of nutrition. Delicious! I also make a killer Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake — Place 8 or so ice cubes, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 medium banana, 1-2 scoops protein powder, 2 tablespoons of PB2, and a tsp or so of vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth. Amazingggg, I promise!
