  1. I am a runner, so I run regularly while getting some circuit training in there as well to strengthen my legs! I also try to eat foods that will properly fuel my body but I don’t shy away from the occasional treat–I find that if I try to “diet” then I just end up on an unhealthy binge after.

  2. i try and stay balanced by incorporating fitness and healthy cooking into our family time

  3. Since I don’t exercise (I know, I know, but I don’t enjoy it), I just try to eat as healthy as I can, avoiding highly processed foods.

  4. I run every day on my lunch break.

  5. I avoid carbs as much as possible and exercise after work every day!

  6. I maintain a strong inner monologue about my exercise and eating choices. I choose to focus on that voice when I get overwhelmed during a particularly hard cardio class (focusing on my goals and needs, rather than what the instructor suggests I do, since I’m just starting out) and afterward, when I’m tempted to go get takeout instead of making dinner at home. Once I can overcome the hurdles, it’s a lot easier than I thought to make better choices, dig deeper and try harder, so I focus on that voice and building its strength and credibility over time.

  7. I stay healthy by working out every morning, fitting in an evening gym session if I can, and always keeping my fridge stocked with fruits and veggies (and not processed foods). I also take baths as often as I can to relieve sore muscles and force myself to relax and clear my mind!
