  1. I run about 15-30 miles a week to stay healthy. I also try to lift weights adn attend a spin class at least once a week. Lifting makes a huge difference in staying fit! Some of my favorite healthy foods/snacks are Chobani yogurt, bananas, peppers, sweet potatoes, almonds, green tea, peanut butter, granola (preferably homemade). I love this recipe for granola, so delicious- http://www.fatgirltrappedinaskinnybody.com/2011/10/sweet-potato-granola-2/.

  2. I walk daily

  3. Eat less processed foods

  4. I quit smoking and started walking~

  5. To stay balanced, I make sure to take a few minutes each day to just breathe and reflect on all that I am grateful for in my life.

  6. I stay healthy and fit by helping care for my two young grandsons! I also eat healthy, get lots of sleep, and drink a ton of water every day. I like to take walks with my grandsons, too!

  7. Sadly, I am running non-stop so I need to focus more on myself. I would love to get back into doing daily yoga. That and drinking more water. Now I just run after my two children and live on coffee. NOT healthy, but hopeful.

  8. I try to drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruit. Also, trying to hit the gym or getting some cardio in!

  9. All these recipes look so delicious! I’m running and drink a ton of water. I love spicing up my water with dasani!

  10. I try to pack in as much activity as I can on the days when I have free time. On days when I know exercise just isn’t going to happen, I try to eat as healthfully as I can- lots of fruits/veggies.

  11. I work at staying healthy by staying informed of what is the current information and trying to keep it all interesting. Always have healthy foods at hand.

  12. My favorite way to stay healthy, especially during the winter when everyone and their mother seems to be sick, is to carry a water bottle around with me, full of water and lemon slices. I also make sure to start my day off with at least one glass of hot water and lemon…I swear it keeps me healthier!

  13. I just discovered your blog and love it! Definitely hooked on looking at all your recipes. And such a great giveaway!

  14. I love these recipes. Can’t wait to try the kale chip! Yum!!!

  15. drink more water adn flavor it up different each day

  16. Drinking flavored water is one of my favorite ways to stay hydrated n’ healthy! Fingers crossed I win the mountain bike!

  17. My biggest working tip to keeping a healthy weight is to keep a good conscious track of calorie intake with a mobile app like my fitness pal everyday. Plan each day to fit within your allotted healthy calorie allowance and balance with fruit and veggies everyday.

  18. I use a calorie-counting app on my phone religiously, love my yoga practice, and walk my dog like 4 or 5 times a day. Lucy would love to jog with a cruiser bike!!!

  19. Getting plenty of fruits and veggies in my diet has helped curb my appetite for other foods, even sweets which I LOVE! This is done an amazing job of helping me feel healthier.

  20. I like to workout first thing in the morning so I know I will get it done!

  21. Exercising 5 to 6 days a week and practicing the 80 20 rule with my diet is what keeps me feeling good!

  22. I drink plenty of water throughout the day, take coconut oil and Vitamin D, and make healthy substitutions when eating meals such as using half a mashed avocado in place of mayo when making tuna salad.

  23. I find that eating a good breakfast (e.g., yogurt with granola, or oatmeal) is the best way for me to get a good start on the day. If I start the day with a doughnut, I’m too full and weighed down to get motivated to get out and move.

  24. I stay healthy and balanced by drinking plenty of water and staying well-stocked on snacks! For snacks I love dried fruit, nuts, seeds, smoothies, and raw veggies dipped in hummus!

  25. Ooh, a new bike would be so awesome for me! I bike everyday to and from work. I purposely did not get a parking pass (I’m a grad student researcher) at my school so that I would be forced to bike everyday, no matter my desire to be lazy or my tiredness. This way I always am active every weekday. Plus, the flush from morning exercise helps ease some of the tired look out of my face when I get to work, no makeup necessary!
