  1. For healthy eating I carry a small bag of nuts, dates and chocolate with me. I also love to run.

  2. I walk to and from work. Gives me a little downtime to relax and “meditate in motion”, and switch from work to home.

  15. I find it important to strike lots of balance: between workouts and rest, between strength training and stretching, between healthy, whole foods and treats, between energetic cardio and calming meditation.

    My favorite snack these days is fresh fruit, which makes me feel refreshed and clean. Nothing like popping some blueberries to remind you that fun food doesn’t have to be candy or junk!

  20. I stay healthy by getting my butt to the gym 5 days a week since it’s to cold to do much outside! I convinced my roommate to join with me so I have more fun working out with a friend. We love to rock climb, so we just took a belay certification class and now me and my roommate can rock climb as often as we want! I am terrible at eating fruit so I’ve started making protein smoothies and they are much easier to sip on on the go.

  22. I stay healthy by keeping a balanced lifestyle of exercise, lots of water, greens & fruits, and of course honoring my sweet tooth. It’s all about balance! :)

  23. I try to plan out my workouts and healthy meals for the week in advance so I have no excuses! I also try to drink plenty of water and get enough sleep each night.

  24. How do I stay healthy? Good quality (natural and organic: no hormones, no pesticides, no other man made additions) food; fresh air: hiking, biking, walking, canoeing, camping; yoga for mind-body balance; gym, and positive attitude! :)

    I do crossfit 4-5 times a week, drink a ton of water and eat healthy. I also try and get plenty of sleep daily.

  29. To stay healthy, I watch my portion sizes, avoid processed foods, and excercize! My favorite excersize is swimming, and after that, biking! I do need a new bike…I think I’be outgrown the one I got in middle school!

  35. I take stock of my water and fruits/veggies intake a few times a day – am I getting enough? How many times have I filled up (and finished) my water bottle? Do I need more? Being mindful throughout the day helps me to strive for the balance between my nutrition intake and physical activity that my body needs!

  42. I want that bike so much! I just donated my old bike to the local thrift shop. I stay healthy and balanced by walking as much as possible! Any 5, 10, 60, whatever # of minutes I have, I always fill it with walking. Walks make me so happy :)

  43. I keep healthy and balanced by doing the basics like eating better and going to the gym. But I stay balanced with the help of my family and friends. Laughing and enjoying the people around you is great at keeping balance.
