I love tequila and usually drink it in the form of a margarita.
But there’s something about sunrise or sunset drinks with the color gradient that’s so eye-catching and they always make me thirsty.
This is a classic tequila sunrise but classics like this never go out of style.
It’s similar to the tequila sunrises we all drank on spring break in Cancun in college and were likely still drinking at sunrise. Okay, maybe I speak for myself.
It’s refreshing, nostalgic, and the grenadine sweetens it up enough that you may not notice it packs quite a punch. It’s the perfect drink for a long holiday weekend. I can’t believe summer is over but this drink makes me feel like I can hold onto it a bit longer.
Don’t forget the umbrellas because everything tastes better topped with an umbrella.
