I love cookies and make tons of them. I’m often asked for my favorites and that’s a loaded question.
How can I pick between a tender soft and buttery snickerdoodle, a gooey Snickers-stuffed chocolate chip cookie, or a beloved peanut butter cookie? They’re all so different, but all so good.
I wrote a Favorite Cookies List about 6 months ago, but as I make more cookies and try new recipes, the list changes. As of today, I’d be thrilled to gobble any of the following right off the baking sheet.

There’s always room for more cookie recipes and I’m giving away a copy of Cookies for Kids’ Cancer: All the Good Cookies
About the Book
“In 2007, Gretchen Holt-Witt set the lofty goal of baking and selling 96,000 cookies during the holidays, all in the name of funding research for pediatric cancer, the #1 killer of kids in the United States and the disease her young son was battling. Armed with the determination of a mom on a mission plus the knowledge that funds for research mean more treatment options, better survival rates, and hope for the future, Holt-Witt succeeded in selling all 96,000 cookies and raising over $400,000 for new pediatric cancer treatments.
Soon after, Gretchen and her husband Larry founded Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a national nonprofit that inspires people to host bake sales of all sizes, from desktops and porches to entire corporations and communities, with some raising more than $100,000 in a day. Gretchen’s first book, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer Best Bake Sale Cookbook, raised thousands more for pediatric cancer research. All the Good Cookies gathers a mouthwatering collection of recipes that promise to satisfy any cookie craving, with the author’s profits again going to the charity.”

I just checked those out, and your pink sugar cookies, and opened up like 10 links. Wow, you made me hungry :)
As you may have noticed I love cookies as well. I wish I could try all of yours!
Chocolate chip cookies…mmmmmm.
pecan shortbread YUM!
Like you I have more than a few “favorite” cookie recipes. But one that is currently on my and my daughter’s list is this:

try it out – it’s easier than it looks and tastes terrific!
snickerdoodles!!
I would like to try your Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. I had been looking for a White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut cookie recipe but I think this sounds just as good. Here is the link to the page for your recipe https://www.averiecooks.com/cranberry-and-white-chocolate-chip-cookies/
They are incredible. Love that dough base, so much. Feel free to swap out the cranberries and add nuts instead; it’s a great dough base for anything white chocolate related. If you try them, please lmk!
my favorite is snicker doodle. I just love cinnamon
My favorite cookies are Oatmeal Scotchies since childhood. https://www.averiecooks.com/2013/04/soft-and-chewy-oatmeal-scotchies-cookies.html
now that’s yumminess!
My favorite cookie is your white chocolate snickerdoodles! I am way too lazy to make them too often (I prefer making bars) but I LOVE them! I asked my husband to watch the baby this weekend so I can make some for my birthday!
love trying out different versions of chocolate chip cookies
I love salted caramel chocolate chip cookies! (I’ve used Sally’s Baking Addiction’s recipe in the past. YUM-MO.)
I made your pumpkin whoopie pies and they took me down memory lane to Lancaster, PA and the Amish farm stands and their pumpkin whoopie pies. Yum!!!
Thanks for LMK that you tried them! I love those things, too! :)
I love cookies, I really need to sample one of each of these! :) I was making PB frosting earlier today and realized I haven’t baked PB cookies in forever, so that’s on my list at the moment.
These are amazing –
