One of my favorite things to make in my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker are these Bourbon Maple Slow Cooker Baked Beans.

Unlike many baked bean recipes that start out with a pound of bacon fat, these are vegan, but are still packed with incredible depth of flavor.

Bourbon, maple syrup, brown sugar, molasses, BBQ sauce intensify and concentrate over time, and the resulting beans have incredible depth of flavor.

They’re sweet with a bit of heat, robust yet smooth, and extremely satisfying.

And most of all, they’re easy and nearly work-free thanks to my Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker.

  1. Dude this is the best giveaway! My crockpot is an ancient one and this digital one is so fancy schmancy! I was actually thinking about buying a new one this winter too! The first thing I’d make is dulce de leche. I could drink that stuff!

  2. We use the crock pot at least once or twice a week for dinners. We like the Chicken and Stuffing recipe, and the Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Chicken recipe too. They turn out so good. Soups are great in the crock pot too
