Enjoy Life Plentils Chips Giveaway

I recently received these new chips from Enjoy Life called Plentils.

“From ancient times to the present, the lentil has proven to be one of the best sources of plant-based protein. This legume is a staple in diets throughout the world, but leave it to Enjoy Life to capture the essence of its all-natural goodness and turn lentils into amazing chips.”

These chips are crazy good. Crunchy and really full of flavor.

They do not taste like lentils and they do not taste like a “healthy chip” and I mean that in the best way.

“This chip’s unique recipe results in a protein-packed, crunchy experience, bursting with flavor as you savor a great-tasting “better-for-you” chip.”

They’re vegan, gluten free, soy free, not greasy, not too salty, and their flavor is robust. The margherita pizza is the most flavorful, followed by sour cream and dill, followed by the sea salt, and I’m not a garlic fan in general so I haven’t tried those.

They are not airy, either. In fact, they are supremely crunchy and hearty. I love texture and massive crunch factor and these have it. They have plenty of substance and texture rather than that I just ate 200 calories of salt and air and nothing feeling.

You want these. Trust me.

If you want to eat lentils in other ways, I have these recipes using lentils (all are vegan and gluten free):

  1. I love Food Should Taste Good’s chips, particularly the whole grain variety and “The Works”. So scrumptious!

  2. Oooh – these look great! I love that even the parmesan cheese flavor is dairy-free and, presumably, vegan. Trader Joe’s also makes a lentil chip that is delish. I don’t think they offer as many flavors as this brand, though. Hmmmm……my favorite chip…..I love Trader Joe’s flax tortilla chips, and their veggie tortilla chips, and good ol’ Cape Cod potato chips, particularly the lower-fat ones, simply because they’re higher in salt and I love salt!

  3. I am interested in these as I am avoiding corn right now. Miss those corn chips! My favorite one of their products are their mini chips, but also the snickerdoodle cookies aren’t bad.

  4. Oh my, tortilla chips! I down a bag every 3 days or so. I keep saying its a “phase” but its lasting a loooong time :) Also sweet potato pop chips. Mmmmmmmm!
