The FoodSaver® 4800Vacuum Sealing System is the first-ever 2-in-1 Food Preservation System.
It provides the ability to preserve foods in both the long and short term with ease.
It has the functionality and convenience of two vacuum sealing appliances in one.
This system works with FoodSaver® heat seal bags and rolls for long-term freezer storage or with FoodSaver® FreshSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags, canisters and containers for short-term food preservation.
In addition, a handy marinate mode infuses food with flavor in minutes instead of hours.
Compact, upscale, and fully automatic, this appliance features an easy-open drawer with patented removable drip tray for easy clean up.
The FoodSaver® system keeps food fresh up to five times longer, helps prevent freezer burn, and can save families up to $2,700 a year.
Many people think of meat or proteins when they think of food sealing systems, but I think of cookie dough. You can preserve cookie dough for quick and easy baking on your schedule.
Or seal and ship your baked goodies to your friends, family, and loved ones across the miles.

I would use this for repackaging meats when I buy them….and how great it would be for baking things ahead of time for events in the family. Thanks for the chance to win this.
I would love to use this for meat. Right now there is nothing but aluminum foil in my freezer. Never know what I have and the foil starts ripping and my meat is always freezer burned!!
Definitely cookies! I do not bake very much because it is just my husband, our 2 year old and I, and if I bake it, it will get eaten, which we do not need. It would be great to be able to freeze what we do not need to eat for a later date.
Baked goods disappear immediately, but cold cuts would be great!
Pretty much everything, but especially produce. My local farmer’s market has great deals, if you are willing to buy huge quantities.
I would use it to seal meat for the freezer. I’d also seal baked goods and leftovers. I love to cook but I live alone so it would be wonderful to be able to save food and enjoy it later or share with friends,
This is such an awesome giveaway! I would definitely be using this lots and lots for fruit, veggies, and jams… (once I can successfully make those) hehe :) Wonderful post, as usual Averie <3
To be able to preserve food a lot longer and marinate food is definitely a plus. You can vacuum seal holiday leftovers for another day.
I would save a lot of extra meat :)
our chicken and other meat.
I bake a lot so seal so there is no air would be a great plus
Definitely cookies! I’m doing 12 Days of Cookies right now on my blog (www.remotecontrolproof.com) and am going to have SO many leftover cookies! This would be awesome to have!
I want to seal meat. I like to have a lot on hand and being in a small city there isn’t much selection. So, when I travel to the next largest city, I usually pick up cuts that I can’t buy locally.
Meat- we like to stock the freezer with meat each season- so this would be great.
I want to waste less fresh food so I want to save cheese chunks, portioned fresh veggies and divided up family packs of fresh proteins like pork chops and chicken breasts.
I buy meat in bulk and freeze most of it. This would prevent the freezer burn!
