If you’re a smoothie fan, The New Green Smoothie Diet: Going Green Never Tasted So Good is just the book for you.
Hilary Greenleaf uses green smoothies as an alternative to eating vegetables to help you accomplish the following health goals:
* Weight loss by drinking tasty smoothies
* Achieve instant energy without consuming sugar or energy drinks
* Detox your body without dangerous chemicals
Not only that, green smoothies are:
* A great way for kids to “eat” their vegetables
* Low in calories but high in nutrients
* Helpful for a smoother digestive system
I’m a huge smoothie fan and here are a few of my healthier favorites. All are vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free.

I just started doing green smoothies for breakfast and lunch in an effort to lose some weight. Todays was apples, kale and lemon juice. I think I need a better blender because mine was super chunky. Kind of like wet lawn clippings :(. Typically I like Coconut milk, raspberries or cherries and some spinach and chia.
I have never made a smoothie. But would love to start :)
I love protein powder and frozen cherries with vanilla ice milk and almond extract… I posted about my fruit smoothies here, should anyone care to see more:)

Smoothie must haves: blueberries and flax. Would love a copy of this “green” treasure:)
Must haves in my smoothies are spinach and banana!
Kale, almond butter, banana, dates and a little bit of cocoa powder. So yummy!
I love green smoothies! My two must-have ingredients in any smoothie are bananas (for sweetness and creaminess) and chia seeds.
I just made a fanstastic Green Smoothie with Spinach…

Total Yum!! Frozen bananas are a love in a smoothie for me, so CREAMY! I need to try avocado!!
My favorite smoothie is a green monkey– frozen banana and lots of baby romaine (some PB makes it extra yummy).
Spinach + avocado + mango & pineapple – YUM!
Love to drink green smoothies myself and I’d love to win the ebook! I enjoy a large handful of spinach, unsweetened almond milk, blueberries, ice, and protein powder. It’s my delicious, regular breakfast.
One of the best investments I have ever made was buying a Vitamix blender. It is a life-changing appliance! Fruits, veggies, you can blend anything! Fruit smoothies are the best way to wake up in the morning.
I already follow you on twitter and twitted the giveaway!
