  1. Drinking lots of water throughout the day , and keeping the fridge full of veggies and fruit for snacking on during the day.

  2. For a great healthy frozen snack, I freeze fresh berries for a yummy treat.

  3. I stay healthy and balanced by getting enough sleep and spending time doing things for myself – reading, and meditating

  4. Make as much homemade as you can.

  5. To ensure that my husband and I eat healthier throughout the week I’ll try to make salads and put them in tupperware. That way if we’re ever in a hurry we can just grab a salad.

  6. I have been trying to eat healthy but lately I have had trouble motivating myself to exercise. I am trying to get back into doing yoga every morning though.

  7. I do weekly grocery trips with meal planning so I have healthy options all week. Also I make a large roast and chop veggies on Sundays so they are always available.

  8. I lost 26 pounds last year! Weight training 3 times a week, Pilates 3 times a week, Cardio 3-4 times a week. I try to stay away from processed foods! Love your site!

  9. I stay away from junk food (at least I try to). When I don’t eat junk I feel so good, and then I ruin it when I give in and have something unhealthy. I try to read the labels to remind me of all the chemicals in processed food!

  15. I drink at least 1 gallon of water a day, eat veggies at least 2x a day and focus on staying stress-free by exercising and doing breathing techniques daily to keep myself healthy. Oh and can’t forget SMILE! It’s something that perks up people around you and makes you feel good too! My tip~ smile MORE :)

  16. Meal planning is a HUGE part of what helps me keep on track with healthy eating. I plan out my meals& snacks for the week & try to prepare as much as I can on Sunday’s. This way, we know what we’re eating each day, which has totally cut out those “frozen pizza” or “drive-thru” nights. Plus, we always have quick, healthy snacks to grab!

  19. I do spin classes most days of the week and eat tons of fruit and veggies. I have also learned if I am craving something sweet its best to let myself have a little…then I won’t go crazy and eat tons when the craving gets out of control!

  21. Sweating once a day! Even if it’s just cleaning around the house, I make sure to break a sweat once a day with some sort of activity.

  22. I like to set goals for myself that have a deadline. For example, I just signed up for my first race which is in May, the broad street run !

  23. I drink a lot of water and try to keep healthy snacks around so when I get hungry I have healthy things around.

  24. I try to eat as naturally as possible and do something active that I enjoy every day.

  25. Get active with your kids. It’s a great way to teach them to be healthy and to enjoy family time. Bike ride, hike, rollerblade the options are endless.
