Ingredients
8ouncescream cheesevery soft (I used lite)
15-ouncecan chiliI used hot
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese blend
green onions sliced into thin roundsfor garnishing
Instructions
Spray a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray, add the cream cheese, and spread into a layer covering the base of the pie plate.
Add the chili, evenly sprinkle with cheese, and microwave for about 4 minutes, or until cheese has melted and chili is bubbling a bit under the cheese. Because all microwaves and their intensities vary, check early and often. You may need to cook for less time or more depending on your microwave.
Evenly sprinkle with green onions and serve immediately with chips or your favorite dippers.
Notes
Alternatively, bake in the oven at 400F for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
