Ingredients
one 8-ounce round wheel brie
about 1/4 cup Hero Black Currant Fruit Spreadplus more for garnishing if desired
about 1/4 cup chopped walnutsplus more for garnishing
Instructions
Slice the round of brie with one straight, horizontal cut to create two round halves.
Evenly spread Hero Black Currant Fruit Spread on the bottom half of the brie round.
Evenly sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the Hero Black Currant Fruit Spread.
Place the top layer of brie on top of the walnuts, creating a ‘sandwich’.
Optionally garnish with an extra dollop of fruit spread and walnuts on top and serve immediately with crackers, bread, crudites, etc. Or, if you prefer to bake the brie, place it in a small, oven-safe baking dish and bake at 350F for about 15 minutes, or until cheese has softened.
