The water is comprised of just three natural ingredients: spring water, natural fruit essence, and bubbles.

There’s no sugar, no calories, and nothing artificial.

It’s a good alternative to soda if you crave something bubbly and fizzy, but are trying to kick your soda habit.

Although I wouldn’t complain if someone put a real margarita in my hand for my feel good Wednesday breaktime, drinking in the middle of the day isn’t usually on my agenda.

Every #HumpDay, Arrowhead® Brand Sparkling Mountain Spring Water is sharing some of their favorite ways to feel good and escape the midweek hump on their Facebook page. Head over there for some tips or to share a feel good moment of your own.

Putting a cool and limey beverage in my hand, going for a run, a power walk, doing some yoga, or some mindless blog surfing or reading cookbooks like novels are how I escape for a bit.

Depending on where you’re located, the water can go by different brand names, including Arrowhead®, Deer Park®, Ice Mountain®, Ozarka®, Poland Spring®, or Zephyrhills®.

The drink is light, zippy, and zingy from the lime in the sparkling water, coupled with the limey flavor in the margarita mix, and from the fresh lime slices.

The raspberry flavor peeks through and is perfect with lime, adding just a touch of sweetness.

Plus, this drink won’t bust your caloric budget for the day the way a couple of margaritas can.

I’ll take skinny recipes that don’t taste skinny whenever I can.

Another favorite skinny drink is this Skinny Caramel Frappuccino. Only 50 calories and you can kick your pricey coffee-shop habit to the curb, too.

My family loved these and literally drank them, plus 3 refills each, right off my photo set.

I’m thinking they’ll go down very nicely over the long holiday weekend. One last hurrah for summer.

  1. I think you have the wrong # in the “Calories” on here… it says under nutritional information
    761 calories?

    1. It’s a computer generated program that calculates stats and is only provided as a courtesy. The program is likely not taking into account that other than tequila this is a sugar-free and basically calorie-free drink. Also old post from 2013 and not even sure if these products are still routinely available today or not.

    1. A second-hand/antique store in San Diego about 2 years ago. Definitely a one-of-a-kind find :)

  2. I worked out today actually for the first time in a week!!! I’m a first year teacher (preK) so things are hectic! so glad I finally got to workout :)

  6. You know, hump day never really bothered me. Thursday’s are my nemesis! But I’d take one of those nice drinks any day of the week! Something I like to do on a day where I feel like the week will never end and I just need a break is to have a huge, ice cold, super-caffeinated, chocolate (but as sugar free as I can get it) coffee drink. It always picks me up and helps me feel a little more alive. Thanks for the awesome recipe and give-away sweetie!

  7. I love to sit and relax every night once I put the kids to bed by drinking some green tea and hanging out on Pinterest! =)

  8. Settle down on the lounge with my new favourite snack – apple and peanut butter – yummmm! and catch up on my favourite tv shows.

  14. I’m with you, nothing beats a good lime beverage. Try putting a few slices of cuke in with your rasp/lime seltzer.

  15. Baking in the middle of the week is always relaxing. Meeting up with friends also does wonders.

  16. A mug of hot chocolate while cozy in a blanket in the winter or a perfectly ripe peach or plum while sitting on my balcony in the summer is my favorite way to relax.

  17. I bake!!! But if I don’t have enough time, as baking does take up quite a bit of time, I’ll allow myself to go on Youtube/Facebook/other social media sites just for a “little bit” to get rid of all that stress from school!

  18. I usually host a dinner and dessert party with some of my friends to unwind and relax and get some good laughs in as a pick-me-up in the middle of the week.

  23. Pshhh who has time to unwind during the week? Work, mommy, school and side business = no time at all. On the off chance I want to blow everything off, I knit. It’s still being productive! And I catch up on TV. Something mindless to let my brain relax!

  29. I go out to the garden and poke around for a bit – snack on some veggies and pull a few weeds. Its very relaxing.

  37. About mid week I am ready for a drink, so if there is no cold beer or chilled wine, I, or usually my hubs, will make a refreshing cocktail out of whatever we have that works! Just one good drink is all I need…and this is another to add to the list, love it! :)

  38. I try to watch an episode of a tv show to give myself a little break – I rarely have time to watch anything when it actually airs.

  39. To take a break, i drink a glass of wine or paint my toenails. Just not at the same time, because it gets messy!

  40. Laying back for a good book read is always a good way to take a little break. ^_^ A drink like this would be nice addition to it!

  43. Mid-week, well, they don’t call it “hump day” for nothing! Climbing that hump can be hard, and I like to make sure I’ve got simple dinners ready for mid-week by planning for leftovers on Sunday or early in the week. Makes a big difference!

  51. Well Averie, this definitely calls for a break in the middle of the week for sure! You know my kids get early out from school on Wednesdays… and us mommys need a break, too! Pinning!
This would be fun to have when us girls get together at the end of the street while the kids are all playing. Although, I’d have to tell them it’s non-alcoholic…bcz have I mentioned I live in Utah? (All of these mommys do not drink…or at least not that I know of…hehe)

  52. Midweek, my friends and I go to trivia regularly! It is a nice break to the week, and it is fun to spend some time with everyone, while winning some money (Hopefully!)

  53. I saw your drink earlier on one of the food porn sites and had to stop by and say hi. Gorgeous colors and the drink looks pretty refreshing. For my weekend relaxation, I like to visit our local food market and try out some new dishes.

    1. Also I forgot to mention to unwind during the week…We drink, watch Dexter, and sometimes have a big bowl of popcorn. :P

  57. I snuggle up to my husband. After two years of a commuter marriage, being able to be physically close to him is a novelty!

  58. We don’t get the Arrowhead brand here, but we do get Ozarka. Must look to see if I can find the different flavors. I guess it depends on how the week is going. Sometimes I take Wednesday as a rest day b/c it’s a nice way to break up the week.

  59. This drink is awesome and I LOVE that there is no alcohol! This means I actually get to drink it! YAY!! So fun and great photos! It’s the perfect way to take a break!

  60. That looks incredible (and would be perfect with tequila!).

My mid-week pick me up: my favorite yoga class is Wednesday evening!

  61. Refreshing drink – and so pretty too!
To take a little break mid-week, I go for a run or have a date night with the hubs!
