What Went Into My Cart and I Bought
Dyson Cyclone V10 – I needed a new one. I have three long haired cats that shed, and I’m in my kitchen a ton and food and crumbs are always falling, my windows are open 24-7, and I’m a little OCD about clean floors, so this happened.
Best Nonstick Pan (for egg especially!) – 23% off! I use this for eggs. No oil necessary. They have sets if you need other nonstick pans, but if you only need a pan for a few eggs, the 8-inch is perfect.
Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner – I only wash my hair 1-2x week so when I do, it needs a triple wash and this is what I start with. And then I wash more with my Favorite Shampoo and finish with my Favorite Conditioner.
Bathroom Scale – So much data and performs so much better than its paygrade based on ALL the data you get including weight, body fat, BMI, visceral fat, muscle, bones, water, and more. You put an app on your phone (it’s super easy to install, no million user names and codes), open the app, it tells you to step on the scale, and in 2 seconds all your data is passed to your phone. And it saves it so the next time you step on the scale, it tells you which categories you’re up, down, and what percentage. Super helpful tool for me after not stepping on a scale in about 5 years.
Resistance Bands – Two sets and one is staying in my suitcase so when I travel I can at least get in a hotel room resistance workout.
Oura Ring 4 – Cheapest I’ve ever seen it, I loved mine! I’ve written about the Oura ring and why I love it here. I have since upgraded to the Oura Ring 5 which is new and I love it even more. But it’s double the price and seemingly sold out in many colors and sizes. So if you want to dip a toe into Oura land, try the 4.
Prefilled Whitening Trays – No strips to slide around, no small little trays to try to fill precisely. Open, put in mouth, remove in 30 minutes, admire white teeth.
Sleep Gummies – For an over-the-counter product, they’re great. For the best sleep of your life, buy these and use my code AVERIE to save 15% at checkout.
Collagen and Biotin Pills – Works as well as products twice or triple the price and you only need to take two a day, not a half dozen like with many brands. I’ve seen great skin texture improvement, longer lashes, better stronger nails, definitely recommend these.
Good Genes – I’ve NEVER in my life seen this lactic acid product this cheap. It makes you more radiant, evens skin tone, brightens complexion while reducing sun spots.
Murad Vitamin C-Glycolic Serum – Soothing and works to reduce spots and fine lines with a pleasant texture and scent.
Caudalie Serum – Not sure what’s in the French stuff with superpowers, but there’s a reason it’s a cult favorite! And when it’s on sale is the time to get it. A jar like this will last you 6+ months of nightly use.
Best Face Sunscreen – My plastic surgeon told me about this and I’ve tried tons of others but this is always my go-to. Not white, greasy, no breakouts, lasts hours and hours, and no sunburn.
Lash Serum – Truly works, I stock up every big sale. Lasts 4ish months for me and makes my lashes actually grow long. One swipe before I go to bed every night.
Best Probiotics – Pricey when not on sale, but I buy them anyway. So when they’re on sale, I buy extra!
Mattress Topper – If you have a kid going to college or moving into a furnished apartment with bad mattresses, this is a life changer.
Sheets Set – For your college kid, their new apartment, your guest room, or your own bed to have an extra set, these are very good sheets at a very good price and get dramatically softer with each wash.
Pillow Set – I’ve bought these multiple times and have replaced most of the pillows in my homes with these.
Towel set – Much higher quality than I was expecting and I’ve bought these for my daughter for her year in the dorm and year in her first apartment. I’ll buy these for my house when it’s time to replace towels.
Kitchen Towels – Absorbent, cute, they work.
Interactive Cat Toy – Three bored cats actually stay entertained with this. They had their first one two years and it was time for a replacement.
Fake Plants that Look Real – Going outside my south-facing, extremely sunny area of my house outside that gets zero watering from sprinklers, pure sun, and needs some cute-ifying.
