I’ve been blogging full time since 2009. I began my website as a hobby when my daughter was two years old so I could stay home with her and it grew into a successful business with millions of month pageviews. I am so proud of what I have built!
I have over 2500+ original recipes on my site that are developed, created, and tested by me. No AI here! You can trust that my recipes will work and deliver perfect results every time.
I’ve been featured in Good Housekeeping magazine, Taste of Home, Better Homes & Gardens and many more print and digital publications.
I’m based out of San Diego, California. I’m married, have one daughter in college, and have 3 adorable and very fluffy Persian cats. Follow me on Instagram where I share behinds the scenes aspects of my life!
Also check out my About page for more information about my website.
I have a Substack called Averie In Real Life where I write about more than just food including travel tips, city guides, restaurant reviews, personal essays, and more. Please follow me there for extra (and very fun) content!
