Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray; set aside.
To a medium bowl, add the Bisquick mix, milk, and stir until soft dough forms.
Drop half of the dough by spoonfuls or your fingers in bottom of baking dish. Dough will not completely cover bottom of pan.
Drizzle about 1/2 cup pizza sauce over dough.
Arrange half the pepperoni slices evenly over sauce.
Top with 1/2 cup cheese.
Repeat layers with the remaining dough, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and cheese.
Bake for 20 to 23 minutes or until lightly golden brown, biscuits are cooked in center and cheese is bubbly in center. Serve immediately.
Notes
Storage: Pizza bake is best warm and fresh, but leftovers will keep airtight in the fridge for up to 4 days; reheat gently before serving. Recipe adapted from Betty Crocker.
