🧄🍗🔥 Incredible flavor thanks to the EASY homemade marinade made with simple ingredients - and you can easily dial the heat or the garlic level up or down for the tastiest, juiciest chicken!
1.25-1.50poundsboneless skinless chicken breast (I use cutlets but any cut is fine)
fresh parsley or cilantrooptional for garnishing
Instructions
Add all ingredients except the chicken to a medium bowl and whisk to combine.* (See Note below about reserving)
Transfer the marinade mixture to a large ziptop plastic bag, add the chicken, seal, and squish contents around to evenly coat the chicken.
Place bag in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat (or indoor grill pan) and grill the chicken for about 7 minutes, or until done; flip intermittently to ensure even cooking.
Optionally garnish with fresh herbs and serve with reserved marinade, if desired.
Notes
Nutrition Stats - I believe that the fat is artificially elevated because of the mayonnaise. However, the marinade is ultimately discarded along with the unconsumed mayonnaise. However, it's impossible to remove that from the automatic calculation.*Note - If desired, before transferring the marinade to a ziptop bag, you can reserve about 1/4 cup to serve as a dipping sauce for the finished chicken.Storage: Let the chicken cool before storing in an airtight container. It will last up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight before reheating. Warm leftover chicken in the microwave at 30-second intervals.
