The FoodSaver® 4800Vacuum Sealing System is the first-ever 2-in-1 Food Preservation System.
It provides the ability to preserve foods in both the long and short term with ease.
It has the functionality and convenience of two vacuum sealing appliances in one.
This system works with FoodSaver® heat seal bags and rolls for long-term freezer storage or with FoodSaver® FreshSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags, canisters and containers for short-term food preservation.
In addition, a handy marinate mode infuses food with flavor in minutes instead of hours.
Compact, upscale, and fully automatic, this appliance features an easy-open drawer with patented removable drip tray for easy clean up.
The FoodSaver® system keeps food fresh up to five times longer, helps prevent freezer burn, and can save families up to $2,700 a year.
Many people think of meat or proteins when they think of food sealing systems, but I think of cookie dough. You can preserve cookie dough for quick and easy baking on your schedule.
Or seal and ship your baked goodies to your friends, family, and loved ones across the miles.

Baked items to send through the mail and know it would arrive fresher and of course, meats which I buy family size and divide into portions for our family of three.
We buy at of our proteins in bulk. Steaks, chicken breasts and thighs and salmon steaks. This would be an ideal way to package them for freezing. Thanks.
I have wanted a food saver forever! My parents have one and use it all the time. I would seal baked goods, meats, snacks for my kids. I actually seal snacks for my kids when we leave my parents house-keeps them contained and fresh-no stale crackers (or crumbs in my bag)!
