The FoodSaver® 4800Vacuum Sealing System is the first-ever 2-in-1 Food Preservation System.
It provides the ability to preserve foods in both the long and short term with ease.
It has the functionality and convenience of two vacuum sealing appliances in one.
This system works with FoodSaver® heat seal bags and rolls for long-term freezer storage or with FoodSaver® FreshSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags, canisters and containers for short-term food preservation.
In addition, a handy marinate mode infuses food with flavor in minutes instead of hours.
Compact, upscale, and fully automatic, this appliance features an easy-open drawer with patented removable drip tray for easy clean up.
The FoodSaver® system keeps food fresh up to five times longer, helps prevent freezer burn, and can save families up to $2,700 a year.
Many people think of meat or proteins when they think of food sealing systems, but I think of cookie dough. You can preserve cookie dough for quick and easy baking on your schedule.
Or seal and ship your baked goodies to your friends, family, and loved ones across the miles.

With limited income and my love of cooking, I hate to have things spoil. But with just us two, freezing things to prevent boredom is necessary. Conventional zip locks bags and plastic containers don’t always preserve our meals. Cost prevents us from this purchase. Would help us immensely.

Uhh..everything I ever make. Chili, cookie dough, quick breads, meats…it’s just two of us so it’s hard to NOT freeze items and then watch them go bad.
