Friend and blogger, Katherine Martinelli, recently released her first e-book, Puff Pastry at Brunch
In the book, she shares ten fun recipes, transforming simple dishes into elegant fare, and they all use one common ingredient, puff pastry.
Katherine uses puff pastry to create a savory Breakfast Galette with Scrambled Eggs, Crème Fraîche, and Chives
Sweet and savory Maple-Cheddar Pinwheels
Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict
and 7 other mouth-watering recipes
My favorite is her recipe for Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese Frosting.
But I have a thing for cinnamon buns
I enjoy working with puff pastry because it’s easy to use, it’s a fast way to create something fabulous, and it’s extremely versatile.
It can be used in so many recipes from cinnamon rolls to savory appetizers like I did in this Avocado, Cream Cheese, and Salsa-Stuffed Puff Pastry
Two lucky readers will win a digital copy of Katherine’s book.

I’ve only used it a handful of times… made peanut butter and chocolate “pillows”– little stuffed puff pastry pockets of the golden combo.
I like to make a goat cheese and pear tart with a honey glaze and sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Yum!
