I was running today and saw this quote.

Sign that says Quote of the Day: "I drink while I work out. I call it Bacardio."

Bacardio.

I love it.

I could use a little Barcardio myself tonight, actually.

Coconut Water Champagne Fruit Punch with a little wine rather than champagne could be nice.

Or really, just a shot of this will do.

You know, the hard stuff, coffee.

Cafe La Llave can of espresso

I have tons of photos to edit, emails to catch up on, and have a late night at my desk planned.

Complete with midnight snackage in the form of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites. I always have a rainy day stash in the freezer.

Do you have any favorite quotes?

I have a hard time recalling quotes on command so unfortunately, or fortunately, Bacardio is all I’ve got for you.

However, Pinterest is quote central from deep thoughts to the hilarious. If you’re in need of quotes, or 239879 recipes for chocolate chip cookies, you know where to find them.

I hope your week is off to a great start and a delicious post is coming up next.

  1. omg haha where did you see that sign? Those dough bites look delicious, may be a good thing to make with my kids cooking classes :)

  2. The cookie dough balls lool amazing I should make some as well to have for a rainy day! :)

  3. Too good. I love it. I have way too many favorite quotes. Many are pieces of scripture. I love inspiring sayings!

    1. The Serenity Prayer is actually one that I do remember but didn’t want to cheapen it by putting it in the same post as…Bacardio. Lol :)

  4. “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
    ― Dr. Seuss :D

    Have a fabulous day!

  5. The quote I remember is:
“A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it’s in hot water.”
    ― Eleanor Roosevelt

I started off my high school forensics and academic decathlon speech with that quote. (I know, nerd squad, but I enjoyed the experiences!)

  6. HHHHHAHAHAHAHA i just laughed out loud. this quote is perfect. i wouldn’t mind sipping that coocnut water champagne fruit punch on the treadmill. maybe people will think it’s light pink gatorade?! ;)

  7. Ha! I’m actually off to do a quick workout right now… you think 7am is too early for bacardio?

  8. I’m the same way- I never remember quotes, but I do love reading them. Inspirational quotes always give me a little pep me up of inspiration, and make life feel a little brighter. I suppose not remembering quotes means we can benefit from the spark each time we read them?! ;)

Looking forward to the delicious post! :)

  9. I don’t have any particular favourite quotes. I just get most of them from pinterest, and never remember what they say. But I definitely love the quote you posted. That is just awesome. I could use a little wine tonight too actually ;)

  10. Oh, Bacardio is great to start my week too! Yes, before I came here, my favorite quote was “Do something!” :)
