When you cook and bake for a living like I do, you get really picky about your kitchen tools.
Without a doubt, my favorite spatulas ever are GIR Spatulas
I love them because they’re flexible, but not too flexible. They stay strong when I don’t want them bending too much, like wrestling a big batch of stiff cookie dough or heavy bread dough out from my mixer.
They’re pretty much indestructible, too.
I have used and abused a half dozen of them over the past year or so, and there’s always a few dirty ones in my dishwasher.
After a year of recipe development for my blog and my cookbook, running them through the dishwasher and scraping out bowl after bowl, and smoothing frosting on top of umpteen pans of brownies and cakes, they look as good as new.
I have pink, magenta, teal, sky blue, lavender and they’re every bit as vibrant and cheery in person as they look in the pictures.
GIR is also on Kickstarter, launching their newest Mini, Skinny, and Pro sizes soon.
