The holiday eating season is upon us with treats from every angle…
From Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
To Peanut Butter Oatmeal White Chocolate Chip Cookies
To Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge (3 minute microwave recipe)
…to so much more!
If you’d like to try something a little lighter may I suggest…
Vegan GF Crackers (Homemade Mary’s Crackers)
Or some Spinach & Artichoke Dip (with Vegan & Fat Free Options)
And pair it with Wasa Crispbreads. Or pair them with some nut butter or even munch on them plain.
They’re so versatile and healthier than many other holiday eats and treats.
Would you like to win three packages of Wasa Crispbreads to snack on?

Oh I love those crackers. Honestly, I really don’t indulge during the holidays. I might have a sliver of pie, but typically I avoid b/c it’s just not worth it (usually they don’t taste THAT good you know). This year, might be different. We found a GF bakery that just opened with the most fabulous pumpkin roulade – we ordered for our T-Day dinner.
I follow you on Instagram too. :)
To stay on track I try to exercise portion control, particularly with carb-y-little-nutrition-foods at meals, to clear room for desserts. My family tends to have our meal, then dessert a few hours later, and I tend to not eat a full dinner afterwards. I’m also training for a race, so I don’t want to stuff myself, because then running might be painful.
i tweeted and i follow you! :) :)
something i do to stay on track is make myself get to the gym each morning. an early morning work out sets the tone for the rest of the day, while also allowing me to have an extra indulgence or two. plus, with time off work i make sure to take a class or two that i usually don’t have time for… that’s a nice treat!
I have already “liked” you on Facebook.
For me it is all about the cookies. I inevitably eat WAY more than I should, but I love them.
Favourite holiday treat definitely has to be pumpkin pie! My grandma makes the most amazing pies and I look forward to them every year!
I love the gingerbread, pumpkin, and peppermint/mint chocolate seasonal flavors. Also, all of the delicious food my family makes!!
What lovely treats! Everything looks so tempting and delicious.
Thanks for the comment on my blog.
Cheers,
Rosa
Face holiday great is a three-way tie between pie, stuffing, and that horrible jellied cranberry sauce(the smooth kind). Love that stuff.
My great-grandmother makes (made? not sure if she will this year) the best divinity ever every Christmas. She’s shipped it to me around the world. I love that stuff, even though I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. When I was younger, I used to call it infinity (not sure if I misunderstood what it was called or just couldn’t say divinity?).

It used to be home made choc chip cookies. Now since I changed my entire food lifestyle I just do not know. Maybe one of your cookie recipes or these crackers with some yummy dip!
