Special K Granola Bars Giveaway

This post may contain affiliate links.

Special K just launched their first ever Special K Granola Bars in Dark Chocolate and Chocolatey Peanut Butter.

Both flavors are excellent; chewy, chocolate, and peanut butter can do no wrong in my book.

Special K Granola Bars deliver lower calories and fat (3g of fat and 110 calories) than some other bars on the market.

They have 4g of fiber and 4g of protein and they’re a convenient for refueling on-the-go.

I always keep a snack bar in my purse and one stashed in the car for those must-have-something-now moments that can strike without warning. for either me or the little peanut.

I try to make homemade snack bars to save money and control the ingredients whenever possible.

Here are a few favorites:

Microwave Chocolate Peanut Butter & Oat Snack Bars (vegan, GF, soy-free) – small batch, makes just 3 bars

Did I mention I love Special K cereal?

Yes, I am a huge fan and one of my all-time favorite desserts are my Grandma’s Special K Bars (No-Bake).

I grew with eating these gooey bars made with peanut butter, butter, Special K, and chocolate.

  1. My favorite cereal when I was younger was Kix or Cinnamon Toast Crunch and ESPECIALLY Raisin Nut Bran. I have it on my list to cook some of my own granola bars very soon!

  2. I’ve tried Special K Bars a few times, but I never buy them. However, when someone offers one up at work or at a friend’s house, I will gladly accept the offer. They are comfortably filling and pleasantly satisfying. Those new flavors sound right up my alley. If I want a lighter snack bar, I usually grab a Clif Kids Z Bar. Ice Oatmeal Cookie and Honey Graham are my favorites. In college, I would buy the chocolate Special K and just eat the chocolate pieces out the box. The Special K plan did not work for me. I cheated. Obviously.

  3. As boring as this may sound, one of my favorite kinds of cereal is anything BRAN! Ever since I was little, I’ve loved raisin bran, bran flakes, All-Bran, you name it! :)

  4. I have eaten probably every kind of breakfast bar on the planet. I would love making my own homemade version! :)

  5. My favorite bars are Nature Valley honey & oat. Or peanut butter. Or any flavor of Larabars. I love snack bars in general, since I can grab-n-go.

  6. One of my favorite cereals has to be Honey Nut Cheerios and they make really tasty snack bars too!!

  7. My favorite snack bar is the Balance Bar S’mores. Well, it’s an energy bar. But still.

  8. I love Special K bars and my daughter does too.
We enjoy the blueberry and strawberry cereal bars.

  9. My favorite cereal is Reeses Puffs! I could eat a whole box in one day! I also love Special K with fruit and yogurt! That is delicious!

  10. So excited on the knife giveaway, thanks! I occasionally buy gronola bars, but also make a lot of raw chocolate date balls.

  11. i like bear naked high protein granola most and chunky peanut butter think thin bars most

  12. I love that Special K has so many flavors of cereal that are pretty low-cal and delicious!!

  13. Your homemade bars look so good and dense, I plan on making them!!! My favorite cereal is Kellogg Special K strawberry!

  14. My favorite cereal is Go Lean! Crunch in any flavor. It is so delicious (in my opinion) and not that bad for you!

  15. My favorite bar is Nature Valley Oats ‘n Dark Chocolate. They may be super crumbly but they sure are yummy!

  16. My favorite bar recipe? Is that a trick question…cause, let me see how many link backs to your site I can post! :-)

    For example, I LOVE these:

    these are KILLER:

There really are so many more. The best part? They are easy, my kids love them and they are dense, rich, moist and, did I say easy?

  17. If I’m eating healthy, I love Special K’s Cereal with Strawberries. If not, then I also love Trix or Cinammon Toast Crunch, lol

  18. I love the Trader Joe’s Fiberful chocolate+peanut butter bars, these look kind of similar!

  19. I LOVE to make your peanut butter and jelly protein fudge!!
    I think I go through I batch every 3 days :)

  20. My favorite cereal is Honey Bunches of Oats! Not the healthiest choice, but it makes a great treat!

  21. My favorite cereal is Waffle Crisp. I know, terrible for you and so full of chemicals…but so tastey! My dream is to make a healthy and non-chemical full equivalent someday

  22. My favorite cereal is one called OHS!. I have a hard time finding it and when I do I do not eat it very often (loads of sugar).

  23. I like “Think Thin Bars” right now. But these look great to try…my kids would love them in their lunches too.

  24. There’s too many to choose! Of course i love all the sugary cereals from when i was little (reeses puffs, lucky charms, apple jacks, etc) , but my favorite ones right now are chex gf and mesa sunrise!

  25. My fave cereal that I have everyday with fruit and yogurt is Quaker Oatmeal Squares.

  26. my favorite cereal is special K. I sprinkle on some splenda and some cinnamon to flavor it up a bit.

  27. My favorite snack bar is still Nature Valley’s Oats & Honey.. it’s great by itself or crumbled and layered with some yogurt and fresh berries for a quick DIY parfait! :)
