    Total Yum!! Frozen bananas are a love in a smoothie for me, so CREAMY! I need to try avocado!!

  4. I love green smoothies! My two must-have ingredients in any smoothie are bananas (for sweetness and creaminess) and chia seeds.

  10. I just started doing green smoothies for breakfast and lunch in an effort to lose some weight. Todays was apples, kale and lemon juice. I think I need a better blender because mine was super chunky. Kind of like wet lawn clippings :(. Typically I like Coconut milk, raspberries or cherries and some spinach and chia.

  13. My go to smoothie: A frozen Banana, spinach, Greek yogurt and strawberries :) smooth and sweet yum! Sometimes I throw in some flax or chia seeds too!

  14. YUM YUM, really want this book. I love green smoothies, hard to pick a favorite, anything with spinach and bananas.

  15. my favourite smoothie (at the moment, it changes from time to time ;-)) is my chai-banana-shake! i make it with caramel protein powder and frozen bananas, its just perfect!! the recipe: (its in german language, but you can use google translate, or just contact me, i would be happy to translate it for you!!)

  18. plain greek yogurt and frozen bananas always seem to make it into my blender. Trying hard to embrace green smoothies. i think i just need a vitamix!

I have been working on a healthier lifestyle… no processed foods, no alcohol, more veggies, less meat and dairy, juicing, drinking wheatgrass, eating more raw, the list goes on… Your blog has helped me so much. Not only are your recipes great but they inspire me to create my own amazing healthy food and you inspire me to stay on track with a healthier lifestyle.

  25. Peanut Butter & Banana. Hands down!

    If i’m in Marathon training mode… Peanut Butter, banana, carob chips, Vanilla Vega Sports performance, almond and/or coconut milk, and a wee bit of coconut oil!

  27. I love green smoothies! And I would so love to win this book!

    Sometimes I go with the traditional green smoothie: a banana, a few cups of spinach or kale, and an orange or lemon with just enough water to get it going. Other times I love to go wild: apple, cranberries, ginger, celery, chia, brazil nuts, and spirulina is my favorite breakfast lately! Yums!

    A spoonful of rice protein is a great addition too, especially if it’s a post-workout smoothie.

  33. I love my smoothies with almond milk, pineapple, and or chocolate.. I get it where i can! Hey its got antioxidants :) and I have been looking for a Green Smoothie recipe book for QUITE some time now and to win this one would put me on my fast track to becoming more healthy whole and happy!!   35. My favorite smoothie recipe:

    4 large sweet bananas
    1 small packet Nutiva hemp seeds
    2-3 tablespoons cacao powder
    1/4 cup goji berries
    2 cups water

    Blend til smooth!

    2 ingredients that I love to use in my smoothies:

    Greens (veggies and green powders such as spirulina, chlorella, and barley grass)

  36. My favourite smoothie is one with sunwarrior choc protein, frozen banana, almond milk, and a good dollop of peanut butter! A classic that can’t be beat
