Sometimes I go with the traditional green smoothie: a banana, a few cups of spinach or kale, and an orange or lemon with just enough water to get it going. Other times I love to go wild: apple, cranberries, ginger, celery, chia, brazil nuts, and spirulina is my favorite breakfast lately! Yums!
A spoonful of rice protein is a great addition too, especially if it’s a post-workout smoothie.

In regard to your question about the cookie … it was very similar to Levain’s. To be honest, I can’t remember much about the Levain cookie, just that it was gooey in the middle and I really, really liked it, but could only eat half because it was a little sweet for me. The Levain-like cookie was the same way. It was super good! I would make it even bigger next time to get more of the raw gooyiness in the middle :-)
to get more of the raw gooyiness in the middle = that’s what I’m all about.
The NYTimes Choc Chip cookie recipe that’s really popular the past year or so on blogs, it calls for HUGE cookies. That’s how I think they stay softer in the middle, the sheer size/surface area/cooking time, along with good dough of course.
I liked you on fb
