Dip Anything from Raw Veggies to Chips to high Raw Vegan GF Crackers into the dip.  
 
And while you’re at it, just make some Raw Vegan GF Crackers.    You can swap out the seeds I used for what you have on hand.  Maybe try some hemp seeds in the crackers.

Thanks for chiming in on my post yesterday about Counterculture, Alternative, and Non-Mainstream.  Many of you identified yourselves as such.  It was great to hear your comments and what you do in your life that may get a few raised eyebrows, but it doesn’t seem to stop most of you from just doing it anyway.   Me neither!   

Thanks to everyone who told me that you read my blog because I’m a little different than most.  That was super nice to hear.  Trust me, I often wonder why I put myself out there, I could easily not.  Both in real life and on my blog.  So it’s nice to hear that you keep coming back for the very reason that me and my blog are unique.

1. Best Thing You’ve Done or Ate this weekend?
My soon-to-be walk with my family and the great weather!

2. Ever tried anything hemp?  Thoughts?
I really like hemp seeds.  They are a softer seed and blend well with other seeds and are nice in recipes.

I’ll be honest though, most hemp protein powders taste too earthy, natural, i.e. dirty and gritty, to me to choke them down enjoy them.  I am not really a fan of protein powder in general (go figure, that’s the snack/dessert I posted today) so if I do use protein powder, it has to really wow me otherwise I’ll just skip it.

I’ve also had hemp purses and a pair of hemp pants years ago but I lost them on a yoga retreat.  Whoops.

3. Do you use protein powder and if so, what’s your fave brand?
I have used Jay Robb brown rice protein powder in Chocolate and Vanilla.  For the past couple years, I’ve almost exclusively used Sun Warrior brown rice and I like both the chocolate and the vanilla flavors.  Again, I don’t use much of it, but sometimes it comes in handy.

4. If you could do anything for 3 hours of Free Time, what would it be?
Here’s my 3 hour free time fantasy, or one of them:  Get a one hour massage, take a shower and get ready without rushing, then have a wonderful meal (that I didn’t cook but that I enjoy eating and won’t have an allergic reaction to) with a glass of wine with Scott and laugh together.

Another 3 hour fantasy: Sit on the beach with a wonderful book or magazine, reading, working on my tan, people watching, zoning out, pina colada in hand.  Take a stroll down the beach and return back to my chaise and listen to the ocean.  This fantasy will be coming true very soon!
