  1. Never saw a question to answer… but, how about “Flan”, jumbo individual Flans.

Winter baking is a warm and cozy family pleasure.

  2. I would gladly attempt to “answer the question”, if I could find a question anywhere…. I love Averie Cooks recipes…. never tried one I didn’t like. But, unfortunately, the website, here, has become so “complex” and overloaded with ads and “scripts” or something that it won’t respond, it stalls, errors, closes, freezes.. nothing but problems on here anymore. Too bad, I’ll miss it…. I just can’t maneuver it anymore.

  3. I found your site quite by chance, really!! You make cooking and baking look so easy that I’m looking forward to trying your goodies. Well, not all at once but, every weekend we love trying a new recipe. This time we’ll pick one of yours!!

    1. oops! I forgot to comment on which color would go best in my Apples Themed kitchen…. GREEN or RED. All the colors are so eye popping pretty!

  4. I would do a “Julie Julia ” like the movie and make every recipe in order as you have them listed. I am intrigued by the Pumpkin Toast (love all things pumpkin).and of corse a classic Mac and Cheese is always great.
I love the colors ! Little, versatile and I would love as an addition to our kitchen.
    Thank you
    Laura

  6. I would love to use these sweet little pots for all kinds of things but I think the first time I use them I will make individual little pies for my dad and my husband.

  7. 2 is the perfect number to serve me and my husband homemade soup, chili, pasta…the list could go on and on. I love the indigo blue. :)

  8. I’d like to try that double-cheese and red pepper dip (though I’d probably make it extra hot!)

  9. Everything looks so good, but I definitely want to try a hot dip recipe. Or chili to go on cornbread or baked potatoes in the fall. Such cheery colors too!

  10. I would love to use them to make individual pot pies for myself and my hubby as well as other meals just cause they are so stinkin’ cute!

  11. I would make a dip of some sort in it. I just think it would be really cute sitting on my stove!!!! Thank You for the opportunity!!!

  12. I would probably make a dip of some sort but I would love to learn how to make a custard…really the possibilities are endless!

  13. I’d use these mini pots for mini desserts, heating up soup, mini casseroles, and anything else I can think of!

  14. Thanks for offering this great give away! I think I would bake the cookie recipes in these as soon as I got them.

  15. There are so many great things you can make with these,! Like bread puddings, individual casserole dishes, eggs wrapped in bacon and the list goes on. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

  16. These dishes all sound amazing… as does all the stuff you post… I’m a newer follower but have already tried some of your recipes… YUM!!!

  26. I don’t know what is harder to do…pick a color (I love them all) or a recipe (I want to try/make all of them). If I had to pick one – I’d pick the Spinach and Artichoke Dip – it’s my favorite dip! BUT since it’s for a PAIR of Le Creuset Mini Cocottes – I’d also make the Double Melted Cheese and Red Pepper Dip (sounds delish).

  27. I will make my husband traditional South African custard since that is one of his favorite dishes from back home.

  28. I would love to make a vegan mac and cheese for the upcoming holidays! I love the pretty colors too, they can double as presentation dishes!

  29. I have always wondered about these Cocottes. They seem to be an elegant way to do single serve soups for a party. The colors are great and they gorgeous but, what I would really like is when they are seasoned. Something tells me these will look even better when they have the “used” look, some scratches maybe, a few burn marks that you cant scrub off, when they have some stories to tell. The memories of fall soups on game day, cheesy apps from book clubs and there is something about that dark blue one that screams for roasted onions and apples!

  30. These make me so happy! I would use one to make an egg bake for dinner, and the other to make a crisp for dessert!

  31. I would love to try some wonderful onion soup in one with a piece of French bread and wonderful cheese…bubbling and googy…..so good.

  32. I would love to make the spinach and artichoke recipe you posted – looks delicious!! Although I can think of so many things to bake with these!

  33. After more than 32 years of marriage and two teenagers, my dish collection is a little thin. I was just wishing yesterday for some more small casserole dishes. demureprincess7(at)gmail(dot)com

  44. Definitely see myself making the “Pumpkin Cinnamon Overnight Pull-Apart French Toast with Vanilla Maple Butter” VERY soon! Pumpkin-y, gooey, cinnamon-y goodness! :)

  45. My husband and I do not always like the same things so I’d use them to make separate veggies for one..like backed broccoli or cheesy cauliflower. Great for servings of French Onion soup too. I make a serving size of baked stuffed shrimp using precooked shrimp topping it with crushed Club crackers mixed with melted butter, fine chopped onion and sometimes a dash of wine to moisten it. Precooked shrimp cuts down on cooking time so it only is in there a short time , LOL he hates shrimp..his loss. Ah yes and mini desserts apple pie..I’d fry my apples in butter with cinnamon and sugar first then top with a piece of crust cook till crust is done. On and on these are so cute with plenty of uses. Can you tell I want to win!

  46. I would definitely make a dip. My favorite is spinach & artichoke dip. I also think soup would look perfect in these wonderful little cocottes.

  51. I’ve been eyeing these at Sur la Table, but they never seem to have the colors I want. I’d use these to serve dips at my next book club meeting :)

  52. I would make your sweet potato coconut milk soup in them. I would also try making a homemade chicken soup. These would be adorable ways to hold personal chicken pot pies, too, if I can find an egg-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and grain-free recipe (or somehow come up with my own!). Thanks. 56. Mac and cheese!!! or your Pumpkin Cinnamon Overnight Pull-Apart French Toast with Vanilla Maple Butter!!

  57. Awesome giveaway, Averie! Mini cocottes are the best! I always use my teal one (mainly for photographic purposes) but I can always use more!
