The FoodSaver® 4800Vacuum Sealing System is the first-ever 2-in-1 Food Preservation System.
It provides the ability to preserve foods in both the long and short term with ease.
It has the functionality and convenience of two vacuum sealing appliances in one.
This system works with FoodSaver® heat seal bags and rolls for long-term freezer storage or with FoodSaver® FreshSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bags, canisters and containers for short-term food preservation.
In addition, a handy marinate mode infuses food with flavor in minutes instead of hours.
Compact, upscale, and fully automatic, this appliance features an easy-open drawer with patented removable drip tray for easy clean up.
The FoodSaver® system keeps food fresh up to five times longer, helps prevent freezer burn, and can save families up to $2,700 a year.
Many people think of meat or proteins when they think of food sealing systems, but I think of cookie dough. You can preserve cookie dough for quick and easy baking on your schedule.
Or seal and ship your baked goodies to your friends, family, and loved ones across the miles.

Our venison… We process our own so it would be great for the loins, back straps, and jerky meat.
Meats because I purchase in bulk and we butcher some of our roosters. I also freeze a lot of chicken broth.
Umm, food. Seriously trying to think of one thing and my brain is so not functioning. Keep wondering if while sealing if it smashes the food or if this would work for bread and cupcakes.
This would be great for sealing meats before freezing.
Home grown fruits, veggies, and herbs!! Oh and COOKIES!!!!!
Sounds wonderful! I’m always needing to story things so that I can bake more…and more…and more
I have a tendency to freezer burn meat – this would definitely help with that!
I love making crockpot recipes and portioning them out to freeze. My family can cherry-pick from our freezer at any time, which gives me more time to bake!

For starters? I buy meat from a local butcher and I would like to be able to seal and freeze it – especially when he has a great sale.
Cookie dough would be great for this, and anything you can freeze and keep for a long time!
