I love green smoothies! And I would so love to win this book!
Sometimes I go with the traditional green smoothie: a banana, a few cups of spinach or kale, and an orange or lemon with just enough water to get it going. Other times I love to go wild: apple, cranberries, ginger, celery, chia, brazil nuts, and spirulina is my favorite breakfast lately! Yums!
A spoonful of rice protein is a great addition too, especially if it’s a post-workout smoothie.
Woops, I forgot: Anything green, usually kale or spinach!
Peanut Butter & Banana. Hands down!
If i’m in Marathon training mode… Peanut Butter, banana, carob chips, Vanilla Vega Sports performance, almond and/or coconut milk, and a wee bit of coconut oil!
I love your blog! I have been working on a healthier lifestyle… no processed foods, no alcohol, more veggies, less meat and dairy, juicing, drinking wheatgrass, eating more raw, the list goes on… Your blog has helped me so much. Not only are your recipes great but they inspire me to create my own amazing healthy food and you inspire me to stay on track with a healthier lifestyle.
Almost forgot smoothie must haves… wheatgrass, maca, and spurlina go into every one.
